  One orders at the counter, takes a numbered flag in the food is delivered to your table. Wonderful home cooked food. Great service. Reasonably priced and quiet, relaxing atmosphere. I know it is a Texas thing, but I find it hard to eat with dead animals hanging all over the walls.

  Love going to Double J’s! I occasionally grab their very yummy banana pudding as a sweet treat for my staff after a rough shift or as a reward for a job well done. It’s always a hit! 🍌😊 Today I picked up 8! 😂 The food is consistently outstanding. Lauren and John are simply great people. Their kindness, hospitality, and commitment to our community are just as impressive as the food they serve. We’re lucky to have them here in Victoria! ❤️🍖😊

  As I was just visiting town I wanted to try a local restaurant. The online ratings gave me high hopes, only to have them smashed. I ordered a cheeseburger with tots and a steak finger. The cheeseburger was small! The patty was thin and almost smaller than the bun. While it has a good flavor, it came to my table barely warm. The tater tots were cold. There was non warmth whatsoever to them. We all know a cold tater tot is a bad tater tot. A waste of the $3 plus I paid for them. While the steak finger had a good flavor it was also cold. Maybe I just hit them on an off night but I won’t be back while I am in town.
