Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
For the love of God don't go there in the morning. You'll be late for work, pissd off and hungry.

I think it's beyond ridiculous when I'm having to wait for a breakfast taquito for over twenty minutes and yes I was the only customer. Do better or hire better employees.

Sat at the drive thru menu for 4 mins this morning. Finally drove off and when I passed the window, the 2 morning employees were playing grab ass.
This has been my Whataburger for almost 3 years, but I won't be back.
Food is always great, but the customer service is terrible before 6am.

Honestly I *very rarely* leave a review, because I don't always feel like it matters. But I'll be damned if I don't give my two cents about this place.
Where oh where to start? This has truthfully got to be one of, if not *the worst* Whataburger locations I have ever been to. Used to be that it was reasonable for them to be busy, since they were just about the only 24-hour joint around. Now? I could go to the McDonalds up the road with a line twice as long and be out in less than half the time.
But wait, there's more! Not only does it take abysmally long, but even after all that time you have a roughly (in my experience) 20% chance that your order is right. But to be fair: If it took me 30 minutes to make a plain burger with cheese and some fries, I'd probably forget what the order was too.
I mean honestly, my words just don't feel like they can describe how little faith I have in this place at this point.
Drive through? Be prepared to wait 20 to 35 minutes, just to pay.
Mobile order? If it's delivery, accept the fact that it will be wrong, and/or that there will never be any sauce, ever.
Curbside? Last experience I have is walking in after waiting 20 minutes past the expected ready time, walking in, and finding the food has been on the counter for what tastes like the last 15 to 20 minutes.
I want to like this place, but every time my wife and I convince ourselves to give it another go, we're left burned. We can't- I can't tolerate it anymore. I don't like to be the reviewer that complains, but if I were whoever you are reading this, I'd appreciate the heads up so that I know this one, simple thing:
Do NOT go here.
Spend your money elsewhere.
Don't give yourself high blood pressure and a 15% increased chance at having an aneurysm like I have.
If you don't believe me? Go once, and see for yourself. But for your sake, I hope they prove me a liar.
