Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

- IPImiayah ParchmanAug 1, 20261.0I came here and waited for about 30-35 minutes at the window just for them to tell me my order was never submitted. Which concluded to me waiting another 10-20 minutes just for my food to get made. People were honking and driving around it was good service.

I would place my order and it’ll give me the estimated time range and I will wait an additional five minutes to leave my home, I will get there and I will still have to wait another 5 to 7 minutes to get my order. Today I placed my order at 11:05. It said it will be done between 11:09 and 11:12. I got there around 11:15 and I was told they were still working on it (which seems to be their usual statement) didn’t get my order until 11:20. The point of doing the mobile order pick up is to order ahead and have it ready when we get there because we’re usually on a schedule or time crunch whether it’s a lunch break or whatever but at this location order in ahead there’s no different than going through the line and paying and waiting for your food.
