Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
Everything was way more expensive than any other Whataburger. 20 dollars for a Patty Melt meal is crazy, they also tried to charge for a water cup.

This is probably the worst Whataburger in the city of Tyler. The employees are rude, I have NEVER had a correct order from them and they are incredibly slow.

A customer should never leave a restaurant feeling disrespected. No one is obligated to smile all day, but if you choose to work in customer service, you are obligated to treat people with professionalism and basic respect.
The cashier’s (LOU) attitude during my visit was unacceptable. She was visibly impatient, rolled her eyes, and made me feel like I was a bother simply for placing an order. There wasn’t even a line behind me, so there was no reason for the rude behavior.
Her attitude was so unpleasant that it completely took away my appetite. Instead of ordering for myself, I only purchased food for my husband and my two children because I no longer felt comfortable spending my money there.
I understand that everyone has bad days, but customers should not be mistreated because of an employee’s mood. Respect is the minimum standard that should be expected from anyone working with the public. Unfortunately, that standard was not met during my visit.

Probably the worst whataburger to visit in the evening. There are far better in the area. Against my better judgment, I visited this place a second time in the evening since I work late. Terrible just like the first time. Visited the day of this post on the 24th of May, At roughly 11:10pm. I arrived in the drive trough and ordered my meal, number 22 with sausage, medium fries and a tea. First issue, drive through took roughly 15 minutes on the guy in front of me. I was second in line. Then get to the window, the guy disappeared for a while the reappeared. Said "10 bucks" took the card handed the drink then returned the card. Another 5-10 minutes go by then I get the food. With a careless "sorry bout tha wait". The tea was soured first off like its either old or the spouts are never cleaned. The fries tasted refrigerated/cold not hot nor at all fresh. Finally the biscuit, basically crunched like it had sand in it and was inedible. Come on guys its literally cooking food on an assembly line its not rocket science how to make it exactly the same and good quality each time. Sad. This is already too long to bring up my first encounter. Hope the owners see this and make it a better experience for its paying patrons. Because right now its wack.
