Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
Me and my husband came here and he’s not from Tyler but he said this was the best whataburger he’s ever been to:)
The food and service was amazing!!!

So ran through just to get my daughter a kids meal on the way home a little bit ago. The two cars in front of me were pulled forward, so it was no surprise when they asked me to pull for it to work for my food they were still cooking. Not that big a deal that happens frequently at Whataburger. However after those two cars got their food and then I scooted up the three cars that came up behind me all got their food and pulled away and we still hadn't received ours. Which was concerning because it was just a chicken nugget kids meal and a medium fry. So I looked at the receipt time and at the clock and it had been 11 minutes, which I thought was a long time for kids meal. So I put my car in park and step back inside to the register to ask about it and the manager popped off very forcefully and not in what I would call a customer service voice at all that they make the kids bites fresh. And I politely told him I understand that they make them fresh but it had been well over 10 minutes at this point, and even making them fresh it shouldn't take over 10 minutes for kids chicken nugget meal. He just kept popping off making fresh for making fresh they're almost done we drop them fresh they're almost done they're almost done just repetitively loudly and mockingly while walking down the hallway from me it didn't even come up to me directly he was hollering it across the kitchen from behind the counter. I've lived in Texas my whole life I've eaten at Whataburgers all over and bought my kids many many kids meals from there. I have never had any issues with customer service at a Whataburger, I've never had any issues with my food taking that long and any Whataburger. He was very aggressive disrespectful and not coming from a place of power he was in the wrong from the get-go. Now just to clarify I've gone through this particular location before I never had an issue and the young girl check out window and then the girl that handed me my food they were both very nice and completely apologetic and friendly. The issue is it took too long but that happens sometimes. The biggest and bigger issue is it that manager was a total jerk and has no business being a manager if that's how he handles such a minor thing.
