Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Generally I give my visits 5 stars, today the hamburger was cold, the patty was not cooked completely thru, and onion rings tasted like they were cooked in old grease. Two stars was for customer service and speed. Look forward to giving you another chance.
- CLCarrie LuceroAug 22, 20261.0The last 3 times I have been to this Whataburger recently, I have had issues. I won't even talk about the first issue, because that was a corporate thing. The second time, there was a young guy that everyone working there thought was great in the drive through window, he ignored me, didnt take my code and simply didnt seem like he cared to be there. Then yesterday, It's hard to say the food was great when you receive fries that were cold and my wrangler was lukewarm at best. Tea was good. The young guy in the drive through lane B, his service was great! So my previous 4 stars from last year is gone. I've been sick, and in that short time, my Whataburger has gone down hill, so sad. Update, went to the WB on Kuykendahl, near 99...the wrangler was hot fresh, fast and had twice as much bacon. I will be driving there to get the wrangler from now on.
