Giving 5 stars because food is delicious despite a long strand of hair being in the actual kolache breading. Owner is really nice, staff is pretty friendly. My only feedback is just be careful with the hair because I know a lot of people would not like that.
Very friendly, greeted as soon as walked in. Very large selection, I had the Boudan kolache, took a dozen mixed donut to work, where everyone raved they were great! Also purchased a wonderful vanilla Frappe, great with coffee in it. I will recommend to anyone who will listen to try this wonderful food!
To start, they had a glowing review before the "soft" opening. This place is way too expensive for par to sub-par food. On the first day they were open, my wife brought home some random items and I found the kronuts particularly delicious. We went back the next weekend, and definitely did not have the same experience. The food was not very good. We gave it a third shot the next weekend and the kronuts were so overcooked and hard, they were inedible. My wife got a spinach kolache the smelled like fish (somehow) and tasted absolutely terrible.
Being so close we were very excited about this place....such a let down. Service was fine except that between the music and the echo inside, It was extremely difficult to communicate when ordering across the glass.
For the price and quality I'll go down to the donut shop at Mueshke or to Shipleys.
They had their soft opening and ordered online the food was great .staff friendly . We will be back
