Landry’s has gone downhill. It used to be a place for higher class dining, now? They made it completely casual for fine dining prices. $20 for 6 pieces of crawfish bread served on paper that resembles a concession stand. The menu is different from when they were considered a higher class of dining. Everything is fried, only a few select options for broiled seafood or steak. All priced as if it was a 5-star restaurant. Drink prices $12-$25 for a small selection of cocktails. Landry’s used to be a place of variety, now they serve subpar drinks and food with presentation of a food truck. Would not recommend coming back unless you would like heart disease with a side bake potato.

We have always been loyal Landrys customers. We were surprised and disappointed going there this past weekend. Appetizer crab & shrimp was mushy and didn’t have any lump crabmeat…I don’t recommend it. I ordered salmon and changed out the side. The portion on the salmon looked like a small kids meal. Maybe 5-6 bites. The side was missing. Server finally showed up I asked for the side dish and when it came out it was maybe 6 tablespoons of rice. Drinks were not refilled. Server was complaining about her job. I had to ask another server to speak to the manager. They did comp my side dish a whopping $6, but that didn’t begin to make up for the bad experience.

Love it here. It's been quite awhile since I last dined here, but everything was on point. Food and service was great, as usual. Will be going back soon, and very much recommended.

What surprises me about this place is that it has been at this great waterway location for 25 plus years. Every time I’ve been here over those years it has consistently been an exceptional experience. Be it lunch or dinner, bar or dinning room, it has sustained a unique pleasant ambiance, good service and great food. This time was no different. We came to celebrate a dear friend’s 80th birthday. It was the perfect place.
So many restaurants now have the tables crammed to close together and the noise level is a bit too loud to enjoy casual conversation without raising your voices. Not here! Tables are nicely spaced and the noise level is easily tolerable.
Great appetizers, drinks, and entree’s and a pleasant birthday dessert for the special person there.
I highly recommend this place even if it isn’t a special occasion.
