- DHDan HummelOct 10, 20261.0Worat HEB I've ever been to out of dozens, and of course it has to be my local grocery store. The ready made food is almost exclusively made before 10am so by the time you go in the evening looking for a quick dinner while grocery shopping the sushi is 8-10 hours old. The beef selection has been atrocious for a year now compared to every other HEB around, barely any options and half of the already meagre beef section has been replaced with pork. The frozen section lacks basic smoothie ingredients like açai berry. Half the time I go for drinking water the gallon area is empty. I love HEB, it's one of the best grocery chains in the world, but the 1488 store needs some help and a rehaul.
