You were down to one cake (that was surely not my favorite out of the two - I loved the French Vanilla). Now, there are none. I went there tonight (after a 30 minute drive) only to find out there are no more vegan cakes. I'm not vegan simply because I want to be or to follow some trend - I have significant sensitivities and allergies. Your whoopie pies are like eating a boulder and if your brownies aren't fresh (which they never are because nothing is made in house), they're horrible. There are so few places to go in Houston or anywhere nearby that have reliable vegan pastry options and now you are no longer on that list. If y'all need taste testers, ask. If you don't care about people who have allergies or sensitivities, you are going to regret not having our business (all of us). This year started off with getting a pre-ordered cake from y'all for birthday and it was dry and old to now not having any options. To say I'm disappointed is honestly an understatement.

One of my favorite flavors is their Old Fashioned Diner cake, so when I asked my sister what kind of cake she wanted for her birthday, I was thrilled when she said “classic yellow with chocolate buttercream icing.” I ordered the sheet cake for 30 people, and it was a hit. Delicious and the high quality ingredients are evident. My only issue with this particular cake (and the reason for the 4 instead of 5 stars) is its shape was a tad crooked, which has never ever happened before when ordering cakes here. But it was still enjoyed by all and won’t deter me from ordering again.

I only need a small cake, but I don’t see my favorite cake on the 6-inch cake list?
We make a limited selection of 6-inch cake flavors, but you can always get slices of any flavor you like!
Why won't you write on my vegan cake?
The chocolate we use to write on cakes is not vegan, so we will not put non-vegan writing or decorations on a vegan dessert.
Will you write on my cake with colored frosting?
No, we only write with white chocolate or milk chocolate.
Will my cake be baked the night before I pick it up?
Custom orders are baked within 1-2 days of pickup. Standard menu items are baked fresh every week and kept at 0 degrees, so they stay at peak freshness until we deliver them to the store.
Will you add fresh fruit to my cake?
We have several desserts that are made with fresh fruit in the batter. We do not decorate our desserts with fresh fruit, however, and our stores do not keep fresh fruit on hand.
How do I store my leftover cake?
Cover it with plastic wrap, making sure all the exposed parts are covered. Store leftover cake in the fridge, but keep in mind that some flavors are best at room temp. You can find the storage and serving instructions for each cake on our website.
How long is it safe to keep my cake?
If it’s wrapped well with no exposed edges, it will keep for up to a week in the fridge and up to a month in the freezer.

Please note that our kitchen is neither nut-free nor gluten-free. Our desserts are not meant for individuals who have severe allergy concerns. Please see our Food Allergy Statement.
In our bakery, ingredients are labeled with possible allergens. However, there is always a risk of cross-contamination. There is also a possibility that manufacturers of the commercial products we use could change the formulation at any time, without notice

Why do I have to pay for a plaque? Why can’t you just write on my cake?
Our cakes designs are not smooth on top so we cannot write on an uneven surface. We require a purchase of a plaque, so the writing looks beautiful! The recipient has a delicious, personalized piece of white or dark chocolate to take home with them.
Can I pick up my order before you open?
Sure, but please give us a call before you make the trip to ensure our truck has arrived with your order.
