Needed a fast snack between dashing and I only had two dollars. Taco Tuesday was perfect. Got the barbacoa which I hadn't had in a long time so happy it was on the menu. Never been here before and it was an easy choice. Not too busy for a late night crowd.

Food was lackluster. The trompo meat was dry and too crispy. Carnitas were under seasoned. Picadillo taco was good. Bottled drinks were flat. Overall this place was not good enough to come back. Everything was just okay, but not worth the price.

Today was my first time going into Taxco/121 The Colony. I asked a guy getting into his truck about the food. He gave it a thumbs up. I went inside and asked the couple in line in front of me and the couple behind me about the food. They answered in unison in the affirmative. I decided to throw a curve ball and order the catfish. The woman taking my order was smiling and amenable. I got my order to go and took off. I got home and dug in. Taxco uses a “Class A” takeout container. The portions (catfish and fries) left nothing to be desired. The order included tartar sauce, hot sauce, and a green sauce. Fast Forward! Taxco is “punching above its weight class” in all areas!!! I’m a Catfish Master Judge and they had me at the first bite. The fries are supremely good and were not soggy by the time I got to eat them. FOUR THUMBS UP for the Taxco experience!!! I’m going back soon for the Trompo Taco Special!

Extremely rude new female employee on the bigger side at this location. She was incredibly disrespectful and completely refused to take my order, lying and saying they don't make items that are clearly listed right on their online menu. Horrible customer service—avoid this location until management fixes their staff.

I'm going to start of by saying I love the food here. The service on the other hand needs work.every Friday I pick up food here and almost every time I have issues. Why I go back I don't know. Today I sat in the drive thru at the window for over 20 minutes before someone acknowledged me. My food was right there. Now it's cold. Several people passed the window I had to wave someone down. I
