Premium price point with mid service and product. We have ordered Togo a few times and I have never had a pleasant interaction with Togo staff. They do not seem to be well versed with the menu and my order is always incomplete/ missing sides/ sauces. Our dine in experience last night was only marginally better than togo with 30 min ticket time and food not worth the price. Landrys has really turned this into just another chain who only cares about loyalty reward cards.

I made reservations tonight and mentioned to the server that it was my sons birthday. My Dennys quality ribeye steak was overcooked, thin and she never bothered asking once if any of the steaks were made correctly. You can see how thin it is from the photo I took at home, mind you this is a $36 steak. No happy birthday dessert for my son, just the check.
On a positive note, the hostess was very sweet but we won’t be back.if we’re going to another chain, I’d rather go rather go Texas Roadhouse or Longhorn where they care about the patrons and quality of the food.

The server seemed to have a hard time keeping up with things. We ordered 3 appetizers; 2 came out as expected but the third one didn't arrive until we were done with the first two. The food quality was not what we've come to expect. The cut on the Pat's Ribeye has become much too thin, if you ask me. We brought leftovers home but my wife said she's not interested in eating any more of her steak because she didn't enjoy it very much the first time. This experience was definitely not on par with others we've had at other Saltgrass locations.

The waitress, Brittany, was great. She's the reason i rated this overall a 4 instead of a 3. The ambiance was fun-- nobody does Cowboy kitsch the way Saltgrass does! Our appetizers, fried shrooms, jalapenos and pickles were great -- well done and crispy without being overcooked. My son got ribs and enjoyed them though they looked too crispy with hard ends. My ribeye came out rare as requested but there was no marbling, as if it had all been cut off and somehow it ended up tasting tough. The baked potato had no brown crisp but was pale and very soft skin as though it had been microwaved. Last the Texas Tea tasted only of soda and mix. That was actually the biggest disappointment to me. It was right about noon-ish so maybe the cooks and bartender were still sleepy. I don't see another visit in the future.

I visited Saltgrass Steak House on Father’s Day this year with a reservation, but unfortunately the experience was far from what we expected.
Even with a reservation, we waited more than 30 minutes just to get a table. Once seated, we ordered a starter, which arrived on time. However, after ordering our main dishes, we waited nearly an hour without receiving our food. During that time, we could see our server taking care of other tables, while it felt like our table was being overlooked.
When we finally asked about our food, we were told that our order had actually been lost. 😳 A more senior staff member came over, apologized, and assured us they were working on it as quickly as possible. We waited another 15 - 20 minutes before finally receiving our meals.
The food itself was okay, but honestly, nothing extraordinary enough to make up for the overall experience.
The atmosphere was also extremely chaotic and noisy that evening. There were several incidents happening around our area, including serving plates being dropped and breaking, with food falling onto the floor. It became so chaotic that at one point it honestly felt like we were sitting inside a horror movie rather than having a Father’s Day dinner. 😳
The senior staff member did come back after we received our food and told us that we could ask for a complimentary dessert because of the mistake, which I appreciated as an attempt to make things right. But by that point, we were so uncomfortable with the overall experience that we simply finished our meal and left.
Overall, the food was just okay, but the service, wait time, and chaotic atmosphere made this a very disappointing dining experience - especially for a special Father’s Day dinner. Unfortunately, this is not an experience I would want to repeat.
