This place was a huge disappointment. It markets itself as serving fresh, made-from-scratch food, but my experience didn’t reflect that at all. I’m a three strikes and you are out kind of a girl After my first visit, I decided to give them a second chance. Unfortunately, it only reinforced my concerns. During my visit, I observed gravy being poured from a can into another container before being served. I also saw carton eggs being used, and the bacon appeared to be pre-cooked and reheated rather than freshly prepared. The pulled pork tasted like something anyone could make at home with a slow cooker. What also stayed with me from the first visit …. the ownership. We met the original owner and his son during the opening, and they came across as detached and uninterested in this location. While the staff was working incredibly hard to keep things running, the owners appeared disengaged. I genuinely felt for the employees, who seemed to be doing their best despite the circumstances. I wanted to like this place, so why not give grace come back a third time then write the review . Instead, I left feeling even more underwhelmed. If you’re looking for food that’s truly fresh and made from scratch, this wasn’t my experience. If you’re okay with food that seems largely pre-prepared and reheated, your experience may be different, but it wasn’t what I expected based on how the restaurant presents itself. Five stars for service cause anyone that would tolerate people like founder must be dedicated or actually likely just desperate for a job

The tacos were amazing. We also got the Hawaiian bowl. The strawberry limeades were fresh and refreshing. More than anything the gentleman that waited on us was friendly and had great customer service skills!

Portions were small and the price was high. Paid over 30$ for a plate and two drinks. The plate was rice, salad, and protein. No Mac, no other sides. There is better Hawaiian food at a better price in the area. The rice was also unwashed and inconsistent. Parts of my rice were mush, and other parts were dry and stale.

I went there for lunch. The second I got out of my car I was just about knocked down by the stench of dog poop. There is a dog park right behind this business. It smells like it’s never been cleaned or for at least a year. This place has no indoor seating and no indoor restrooms. There is some outdoor seating behind the restaurant overlooking the dog park that has an overwhelming stench of dog poop. I could never eat at a place that stinks that bad of dog poop. We ordered sandwiches and both of them barely had any meat on them. There was only one employee at the business for lunch. So it took a while to get our food. So since there’s no indoor seating and the dog poop smell was so horrible I had to go wait in my car for the food to be fixed. They have a shared outdoor building for a restroom that is shared with the other businesses in the area. I don’t think this would be very safe for women because anyone could go in there and hide in the stalls. The menu is written in chalk on the wall and it’s scattered everywhere. It’s almost impossible to read. It should be broken down by sandwiches, wraps, and breakfast. It is not. I’ve eaten at the Kono’s North Shore in Hawaii and it was excellent. This one is just barely upscale from a food truck with no indoor seating, no restrooms, and very few staff. The sandwiches tasted OK, but there was hardly any meat and they left bacon off of my sandwich (The Triple Crown) $15.95. It was a really bad experience and I will never go back to this place again. I don’t think this restaurant will make it at this location. I strongly suggest you go somewhere else.

We ordered, Pig on Grass Plates, and none came with rice, per the picture on their site and the meat was dry too. We also had a sandwich and it had more onions than meat. I'm not sure where they are getting these 5 star reviews. I have a buddy who ordered one of their breakfast burritos and hated it. They said it tastes like fake eggs. SMH
