We came for breakfast Saturday morning and the food was great! We ordered a burrito and a sandwich and both were stuffed and filling. My favorite was the lox bagel!
Finally some good hawaiian food!!! My family and I ordered the Haleiwa and Biscuit Trio; the kalua was delicious and the salsa MAKES IT. I would’ve never thought to have combine the two, but it changed the game. Portuguese sausage broke da mouth!! Their fusion is tasteful and cooked like it was back home. Staff is so friendly and can tell they’re putting in their hearts into the food. I have no notes!

When they are actually open and on it, the food and service is great! We went for opening day and loved our experience so much we went back the next morning for breakfast. It says everywhere including their insta that they open at 6:30, we went at 7:30 and they were closed, we came back at 10:30 and got to watch the chef walking in super chill as if they weren’t about to open more than 3 hours late. We were so excited but excused it as opening week hours changes. Today we made sure to go in past noon but the food was horrible this time. We ordered something with guava sauce which the GM upsold on opening day and I loved, instead we received only a Sriracha sauce of sorts and made the mistake of committing to putting it on our whole plate before we realized. It was so spicy to us that neither of us could eat more than 2 bites. Just super disappointing of an experience after liking it so much the first try.
Walked in this afternoon and no one was at the front counter. After waiting a few minutes, someone finally came up to help us. Not rude, but definitely not friendly like other reviews state.
We ordered the Kapahulu Tacos and the Kailua Sliders. Unfortunately, both dishes were served cold. Nothing appeared to be warmed up. The taco tortillas tasted like basic grocery store corn tortillas and weren’t even heated, giving them a raw texture. There was also very little meat in the tacos.
The sliders were served on King’s Hawaiian rolls that were neither warmed nor toasted, despite the menu stating otherwise. They also had very little meat and sauce. The meat on both the tacos and sliders was cold.
We came in expecting great Hawaiian food, but the meal felt more like a quick grocery store lunch. That would have been acceptable if the food had at least been served warm. Overall, the quality and preparation were disappointing.
Placed a $92 order through DoorDash. The restaurant was out of everything we ordered but instead of cancelling it so I could get a refund from DoorDash, they accepted the order. The Manager called me to say they would send whatever food they had and refund me along with sending coupons. NEITHER ONE OF THESE THINGS HAPPENED. DoorDash wouldn't refund me bc the restaurant wouldn’t answer the phone, so I'm out $92.
