This was a take-out order, so we didn't experience any service. That's why there's only 3 stars for service and atmosphere.

Ohhhh my goodness. I will be dreaming about this place! The food is so so yummy and the owner is so friendly!! We got the fried calamari, bruschetta, lobster ravioli, and the stuffed pizza. The freshly made vodka sauce on the lobster ravioli - to die for! Everything about this place was so good and we will be back!! I want to try even more off the menu.

Mother of the bride here.Amore has been a gathering place for our family for years, so we thought it would be special to have our daughter’s bridal shower there. In January 2026, I met with the new owner, Bobby, to discuss hosting the shower. He recommended using the back of the restaurant because the party room was not large enough for our 30 guests. I took photos that day and paid a $500 deposit to reserve our May date. Over the next few months, we discussed menu options, pricing, table setup, decorations, and event timing through email. Everything was confirmed in writing. The week before the shower, Bobby began changing parts of the agreement and stated we were supposed to be in the party room. I reminded him that the back area had been his suggestion and sent him the photos from our original meeting. I also told him we were willing to do whatever setup worked best. Concerned about possible issues, I went to the restaurant a few days before the event to discuss everything in person. Bobby was not there, but the manager, Obel, reviewed the setup with me and suggested a different table arrangement. He said he would discuss it with Bobby and contact me if there were any concerns, but I never heard back. On 5/23/2026, we arrived early to decorate. Our balloon arch vendor was initially told they could not set up, despite prior written approval. Shortly afterward, Bobby changed his mind and approved it. When I entered the restaurant, Bobby immediately addressed the table setup. The arrangement was not what had been discussed with Obel, but I simply stated we only needed seating for our 30 guests. Bobby became aggressive, saying there were already enough seats and that if we “wanted the whole restaurant,” he would have charged more. I explained we did not need the whole restaurant, only the agreed seating arrangement. He continued saying he was “trying to run a business” and could not “shut everything down.” I noticed another group using the party room and wondered if that contributed to the sudden changes. When I calmly asked if we could “bring this down a level,” he responded that if I wanted my $500 deposit back, he would give it to me “right now.” I was shocked. We had guests arriving within the hour. I asked if we could step aside to discuss the issue privately, but he refused and continued the conversation publicly. I tried to remain calm, but Bobby repeatedly interrupted me and reminded me that he was the owner and Obel was only the manager. My daughter eventually stepped in and asked him not to continue speaking to me that way. The bridesmaids and groom’s mother also came over after witnessing the interaction. Eventually, the situation settled enough for the shower to continue. It quickly became clear the restaurant was understaffed. Bobby and his wife were serving both our shower and another group. We had preordered a case of champagne, but only a limited number of glasses were provided. Guests asking for additional glasses were told there were none available, even though extra glasses were visible nearby. The food reviews were mixed. I personally had no complaints, but some guests later mentioned the chicken in the fettuccine Alfredo and chicken parmesan seemed dry. Despite the stressful and unprofessional customer service, the shower itself was still enjoyable because we were surrounded by family and friends celebrating our daughter. Overall, it did not seem the restaurant was prepared to handle a large party that had been scheduled for five months while also serving another group with limited staff. The uncertainty and conflict shortly before the event caused unnecessary stress during what should have been a joyful occasion. If you are considering Amore for a larger event, you may want to carefully consider whether the space and staffing will meet your expectations.

Scenario-Bridal Shower- The owner barked at two of the bridesmaids that were placing a table runner and butterfly decor on the round tables next to the large two tables that sat 30 guesses for the bridal party. The wedding party had communicated/confirmed with the Manager earlier in the week to discuss the set up that include the two round tables. On the day of the shower only the OWNER was on site. The owner then barked and said we did not have access to the round tables and that if we wanted to use the two tables he would have to charge to book the entire restaurant not just the back of the restaurant . The bridesmaids immediately removed the table runners and decor. The mother of the bride attempted to discuss the miscommunication. However the owner became argumentative and repeated he is the Owner and he did not agree to this arrangement. The tone and disrespect he displayed to the mother of the bride to the point of raising his voice and being defensive and argumentative was the worst customer service ever displayed. The Owner began discrediting the manager that had agreed to the arrangement of including the two round tables. The owner’s concern was the bridal party using the two round tables would interfere with all the other customers that would come into the restaurant. During the paid 3-4 hrs there was one couple and one other customer the entire time we were at the restaurant and they sat in the booths. The way you treated the mother of the bride, the bride and the wedding party was unacceptable and not reflective of an owner to say the least. If this is how you treat a reserved party of 30 I can’t imagine how a party of 2 are treated. Let’s agree that we were not welcomed from the moment we walked in to set up for the bridal shower. Perhaps this event was too much for the owner to handle with his staff of two. But regardless if you have a birthday party or other special event we would not recommend!
