Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

- JHJ HAug 18, 20261.0Went to the one in temple, off of 31st and 363 and the service sucked, waited 20 minutes for 3 burgers and 5 other people Went and came after I ordered with their food, went to the counter and asked about food and they said let me check, they said they are making it now, I said I need a refund and left, will never go back there again.

Today they dropped the ball bad, waited over 20 minutes for a mobile order, when I walked in I was greeted and explained how I have been waiting for a order that was supposed to be ready 20 minutes ago. They found my order, threw away the fries and put fries that were just as cold and soggy. Drinks had a hole and instead replacing them they changed out one drink and now I got tea and soda all over the carpet of my car. Not sure what’s going on with this location but it was my go to Whataburger. I had ordered on the app and people were taking up the 2 mobile order spots so I parked in a different spot with my hazard lights on like the app asks
