Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
DON'T WASTE A MINUTE HERE... OR AN HOUR, LIKE ME! Food was tasteless, as it was never brought, and as the food was never served, the service was horrible. The atmosphere was lacking in joy as much an empty stomach was lacking in sustenance.

The restuarant was a great place to get food late at night if you dont mind your food being cold and being forced to sit at a booth for an hour waiting for your friends orders that never come out because they forgot your order, the service was shameful.

Can't rate the food because I never got it.... I was there over an hour (Around and hour and 15 minutes). They forgot about it even after I reminded them several times of my order. I had an awful experience i would rate it lower if possible.
The service was awful and the employees seemed mentally absent, aswell as incredibly forgetful.
I ended up leaving without my food, I highly recommend not going to this location it is awful.

Can we please do something about this whataburger? I've never seen a place so staffed and the slowest service. I walk in and it seems like a bunch of kids with no parent watching them. I'd rather the store close earlier with good service than to sit in line for 45 minutes just to get the order wrong and the fries cold. To again wait another 30 minutes for the correct order. I eventually went across the street and got food.

This location needs to check their employees and the beverage vendor. A little over a month ago my mom and I went here for a late night meal. The kid at the window was in training. My mom ordered a chicken sandwich with her sauce on the side. The kid was confused and my mom kept explaining that it the physical menu says it came with a sauce but she requested it on the side. The person training him was clearly annoyed by the kid and the situation but gave her what she was asking for with an attitude. We decided to just accept it and leave because it wasnt worth getting into it with that person while also holding up the drive thru. We ordered strawberry fanta as our drinks. Got home and it clearly tasted like Big Red. Fast forward to a few nights ago, I went back to this location. My food was fine but my strawberry fanta tasted like Big Red again. I told the employee who brought out my food and she looked confused when I let her know because this location doesn't offer Big Red. I informed her that this was the second time this has happened. I asked her to replace my drink with the orange fanta, which she did. Please contact your vendor(s) and make sure they are delivering the correct syrup to your location. Also, check some of your late night employees about their attitudes, if they all have studied the menu, and I strongly suggest that a mature individual be in charge of training if it's being done at night. Young people are irritable because they prefer to be out partying, hanging out with friends, playing games, studying, etc. Yes, I would know based on my personal experience in QSR and high end restaurants.
