  We had their buffet. The worst buffet for $17 in whole Houston. Very few items to call that buffet. The free dosa was tasteless and the potato masala that came with had bad smell. Gulag jamun was so dense. We’ll never come back nor recommend this place

  The best South Indian vegetarian restaurant in this area. South Indian Express and the filter coffee are my favorite . We are a regular customer here .very neat, calm and quiet place with exceptional customer care. I really recommend this place to anyone.

  While the staff member who took our order was very friendly and welcoming, the food was hands down the worst-tasting meal I have ever eaten at an Indian restaurant in Houston. We ordered the South Indian Express Veg Biryani, Thali, and three juices. The juices were easily the worst I have ever had in my life, tasting as if they used a single piece of fruit diluted with three cups of water. To make matters worse, the Vada was unpleasantly chewy, the vegetable chutney had absolutely no salt, and the Biryani was terrible—the Kesari was literally the only thing I actually liked. Friendly service cannot make up for such poor food quality, and I will definitely not be returning.
