  We came to celebrate a birthday with a big group, and everything was wonderful. The steaks were excellent, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and all the dishes were delicious. I had the chicken steak, vegetables, and salads — everything tasted amazing. Great service and a very enjoyable experience overall. I definitely recommend this place, and we will absolutely come back again!

  Rebecca saved the day! I typically do not go out to eat on Mother’s Day, but today I was craving a cheeseburger. My husband took me to a steakhouse that are known ffor their hot rolls. I saw a tent and a bounce house in front of the establishment and I said to myself “ABSOLUTELY NOT”. Their wait time was over an hour. I said, “Let’s Go to Saltgrass, it’s in the neighborhood.” Their wait time was 45 minutes. I can do 45 minutes. We were seated several minutes before our server arrived. She took our drink orders and I said we were ready to order. The drink order was not correct and my husband inquired about the soup or salad optionthat came with his meal. She didn’t know the components of his meal. That was a sign.We never saw her again until the end of our meal. The manager refilled our drinks, corrected the drink order delivered the food and checked on us throughout the meal. I noticed the server having conversations with other patrons, but she never checked on us. Not once. She brought a to- go box to my husband, but I told her that the manager would be assisting me and her response was “Okay, cool”. And she walked away. She could have stopped at the table to check in. She did not and therefore she was not given the opportunity to to reep the benefits or gratuity of the service Rebecca provided. I talked to Rebecca about providing her with some constructive feedback. We have lived in the RiverPark community for over 25 years and I would hate to take my business elsewhere. Rebecca, I appreciate you taking the time to allow me to voice my concerns. Thank you for truly seeing us because the server saw us and ignored us. And that is simply unacceptable.

  It was a busy Saturday night, but I was really disappointed in SaltGrass. The service was slow, the server couldn't remember our order from minute to minute, and the steak was a bad cut. I understand the beef shortage, but they're still charging full fare for a substandard steak. Poor showing for the price.

  My boyfriend and I came in for a date night, which is something we usually do on Saturdays since it’s the one day we both have off together. Right as we walked in and waited on a table, we noticed what seemed to be the manager staring at us in a way that immediately felt super awkward & uncomfortable. We even saw him signal a waiter toward us and our table and say something along the lines of “watch them.” I can partly understand wanting to keep an eye on younger customers since some people do try to get away with things, but it felt really judgmental and unnecessary. Especially being that we have no intentions besides having a date night, and we dressed up nicely as well for exactly that. From that point on, we were super aware of the eyes on us. Especially since we were seated right in the dead middle of the restaurant and it felt like multiple staff members were watching our every move. I completely respect that staff have a job to do, but there’s a way to be more discreet and respectful about it. The experience just felt invasive and took away from what was supposed to be a relaxed one on one date night. We both felt very anxious with all of the eyes on us, even knowing we had no ill will. On a positive note, our waiter was very sweet and attentive, and we made sure to tip him $20 on top of our bill. The food was pretty good at least.. Just disappointed with how we were treated overall—we’re PAYING customers and that kind of invasive experience isn’t okay.

  ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Saltgrass Steak House delivered a great dining experience from the moment we walked in. As soon as we arrived, the host was very accommodating, and we were also greeted by a manager who personally came over and seated us at our table. That level of hospitality immediately set the tone for a great visit. A huge shout-out to Jonathan, our waiter, who took excellent care of us throughout the meal. He was attentive, professional, and gave us some great drink recommendations that really added to the experience. My wife and I shared the 24-ounce porterhouse steak, and it was outstanding. Cooked medium rare, just the way we wanted it. Tender, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. We paired it with sides of asparagus and shrimp, which complemented the steak perfectly. The service, food quality, and welcoming atmosphere all came together for a memorable dinner. If you’re looking for a great steakhouse with strong service and consistently good food, Saltgrass is always a solid choice.
