Server Andreas(not sure on spelling) was amazing. Some of the best service I have had at saltgrass or anywhere lately. Food was delicious. Management needs some work. Saltgrass managers used to come check on you at least once during the meal. They would have to look up from their phones to touch tables and that just wasn’t in the cards on a not too busy Friday night. They did have time to constantly stand behind my table and entertain servers begging to get cut first. That was fun to listen to while trying to enjoy a meal with the family. Once again my server was TOP NOTCH and will request him again

Or food was cold. The butter didn't even melt on the steak. The grilled chicken was cold the vegetables were cold. Left a review and asked to be contacted and never heard from anyone. Worst experience ever. It took over 30 minutes to get out food and it wasn't even busy. Our food seat in the back for over 20 after it was cooked before our server brought it out had a clear view of it

I am extremely disappointed by the experience my family and I had at Saltgrass in Sugar Land. We arrived right around opening time, checked in with the hostess, and were simply told to have a seat and wait to be called. At no point were we informed that there would be an extended wait or that reservations were being prioritized.
After waiting approximately 10 minutes, we watched multiple larger groups and families arrive and be seated almost immediately. Naturally, this was confusing and frustrating, so we approached the hostess to ask what was going on. Only then were we told that those parties had reservations and that the wait for us would be approximately two hours.
What makes this experience particularly frustrating is that this information could and should have been communicated from the beginning. Had we been told upon check-in that reservations were being seated first and that the estimated wait was two hours, we could have made an informed decision about whether to stay or dine elsewhere. Instead, we were left sitting and waiting with no explanation while watching numerous other guests be seated ahead of us.
The lack of communication, transparency, and basic courtesy made us feel unwelcome and disregarded as customers. The situation left such a negative impression that it was difficult not to question whether we were being treated differently. Whether intentional or not, the experience gave us the feeling that we were not valued in the same way as other guests.
Customer service starts with clear communication and respect for people’s time. Unfortunately, neither was demonstrated during our visit. This experience fell far below what I would expect from a restaurant with Saltgrass’s reputation, and I hope management takes steps to ensure future guests are treated with greater professionalism, transparency, and respect.

As a Preferred Member I was very disappointed with this location. After a long morning of shopping we pulled in to the Saltgrass Steakhouse for refreshments and a great meal so we thought. We were seated quickly and each had time to go and wash our hands. Multiple waiters walked by but no one ever greeted us or took our drink order. After seeing customers that arrived after us getting waited on and receiving their drinks, we decided
to leave. On the way out I told the hostess we were leaving due to no service and she said okay and have a nice day. Only after we were outside and in the parking lot did someone come out and ask why we were leaving. To her credit she was very nice and said she would have the manager talk to us. We decided to go next door to Gringos where we were waited on very quickly. The drinks were great and food was even better. 🤷🏻

No problem with the server, she was good and hardworking. I waited to pay the bill in my table sa long because my server was very busy, I could see. Then thought to pay the bill in front desk, as I was getting very late for my appointment. I reached front desk said the server is busy, so I need to pay, I need to go. They were hesitant take the pay, said need to wait until my server gets there,
I said I need to go. There one out of three front desk personnel took my payment card n bill went in, I waited almost 10 min, did not see her. I asked the other front desk person, I need to go, where is the that person. She pressed her phone, with a grim look, said she called the manager. I waited 5 more min, one guy came out asking did u want talk to manger, I said, I just want to pay and leave for my appointment, he said I have to wait for my server, finally after 5 .in my server came with the receipt and I left.
The catch is...good for nothing manager., dont know to handle a customer need to pay the bill and no value for others tome wasted for nothing..only his powershow,and good for nothing frost desk,
The server girl was so nice n working hard.
