The server was very nice but you can tell their still getting air under their wings. It's a new location with new hires still learning the menu. Chargrilled oysters were beautifully served with plenty of garlic butter. They could have chargrilled them a little longer, as the parmesan crust didn't settle and simply fell all apart upon serving. The shrimp platter was great and the coastal seafood pasta was DELICIOUS!!!! Catfish had a nice crisp but underseasoned. Grilled fish tacos advertise with a firecracker sauce. No sauce came with it, they were totally dry and the chef told our waiter that it came with only pico and avocado. The chefs didn't seem to prepare what was advertised. They were eaten but very dry, wouldn't order them again if the chefs don't know that tacos come with a sauce. I ordered blackened Mahi with the Cresent topping, it came out FRIED with credentials topping. Didn't care for it at all. The peach "old yet fashionable " was too sweet for my liking, just a personal preference, I'll still to my standard old fashion. Again, I'll definitely try it again, maybe in a few months, once they get better footing. But our waiter was very kind and the manager came by during appetizers and checked on us.

Leo, our server, was great. Very friendly, very helpful. When walking in, we were not asked if we were Landry members. We waited about half an hour for a table for a party of 3. The parking lot was fairly empty. While waiting for our table, another group arrived, half their party sat down, and they were immediately seated. That made us question the hostesses. One hostess tried to explain that they were on the waitlist while the other hostess explained they were not and we were immediately seated. The dining area was not full. Outside dining was empty.

So we came to try this place out after Dave and Busters. We had a little one that we hoped would do well. We ordered his food first. While waiting for his food we realized he wasn't going to make the whole meal so we ordered our meals to go, so we wouldn't disturb the other guests. Turns out that incurred an additional surcharge for ordering our meals to go. I understand a surcharge for only to go orders but we were dining in. The Jumbo was chewy and had too much pepper. The kids meal plate was extremely hot like it sat in the widow too long. My wife said that the restroom is near the wait staff area and she could hear them complaining about the restaurant. I was happy to give this place a try but probably won't give it another one.

I come to Landry’s Seafood House pretty often when I’m in the area, and honestly, it has been a great experience every single time! I recently came in with some colleagues, and after ordering what felt like the entire happy hour menu 😂, our waitress, Arianna, was the absolute highlight of our visit. She went TO INFINITY AND BEYOND to make sure we were taken care of. Her personality, attentiveness, and genuine hospitality made the experience even better! The manager, Angel, also came out to check on us, and it honestly meant so much that he remembered me from a previous visit. That kind of personal touch says a lot about the people who work here and the effort they put into making their guests feel welcomed. And of course, the food! It’s always hot, fresh, and delicious. The stuffed jalapeños and shrimp en brochette are SO GOOD. And you absolutely cannot forget the pomegranate martini! Whether you’re stopping in for lunch, happy hour, or dinner, just make your way here and ask for my favorite server, Arianna. I promise you’ll have a great experience! Great food, great service, and people who actually remember their guests!

Time: Approximately 6pm. Just one in my party (see below). I was told there would be a 45 minute wait, but if I wanted a high top table I could be seated right away. I agreed and as soon as the table was cleaned, I was seated. Service: I should have informed the manager that "Amanda" was fantastic. Attentive. Friendly. Courteous. The best part of the experience. Atmosphere: I have not been to Landry's before at any location. It was a bit less formal than expected. Small. Efficient. With mounted TVs tuned to football and baseball. Food: This is where things get a bit more difficult. The Landry's salad was excellent, but on reviewing the menu afterwards, it turns out they served me the wrong item. I ordered the Laundry's house salad to compliment my mea. I received the Wedge Salad instead (which I did not order). I'm not even a fan of blue cheese, but the plate was ice cold. The lettuce crisp. The bacon fresh. Perfect. I should have stopped there. Would give this salad a 5/5. It was one of those days, driving home from work, and realizing it had been some time since I had fish. Landry's was new at this location, so I decided to pass the "P" deaux experience and try Landry's. I ordered the Redfish Pontchartrain - which came with green beans and dirty rice. Unfortunately, as other reviews have mentioned about their experiences, this dish (in my opinion) was bland (minimal spice), a bit drier than I expected, and just nothing to rave about. The green beans and rice were just a tiny bit better, but I truly felt I could make better at home. I really wanted to feel like I was treating myself to dinner out (something I almost never do), and had the main dish been on the same level as the salad, I would have been been giving this a 4 to 5 star review. The best part of my experience there were the staff - who went out of their way to be helpful - refilling water, asking if I needed anything else, etc. Would I return? Based on this one experience, I'd have to say no. At lower prices, I would probably give another option a try, but if it was similar to this experience, I would go elsewhere.
