Lol they turned the lights off when I pulled up to the drive thru. I get that it was late (10:45) but I tried calling ahead (10:30) but no one answered the phone. I was just craving some steak fingers and I'm sure i would've spent more money, but I get it. We all want to go home early.

I placed an online order and was told they were out of larges, so I was offered a medium instead, which I agreed to. I simply asked for a refund of the price difference I do want to mention that the young lady working was very polite, patient, and helpful throughout the interaction. Unfortunately, my experience with the manager was very frustrating. There was little to no communication—he handed us the money, closed the window, grabbed the receipt and walked away without explaining anything or addressing our concerns. I requested a receipt for the refund when we received our food and I was told the manager couldn’t provide a receipt for a refund. On top of that, I ordered a burger with specific extras that I paid for, but the extras were not added, and the wrong condiments were used. I understand mistakes happen, but better communication and customer service would have made a big difference. I hope management takes this as an opportunity to improve the experience for future customers.

Seems the team leader or manager needs to step up. The wait for orders is above average and the ice-cream deserts take a while to get done. My blizzard was poorly made I had to throw it away. The tables and behind the counter is super dirty.

Sterling City is a midway point between myself and my parents, so we decided to meet up for lunch at 11:00 am. My mom is in chemo, and it was her first time out of the house and being around people in several months…so it was a special outing for her to be with family. The first thing I noticed when we entered the restaurant was that the staff were bickering. There seemed to be 3 young chiefs who all wanted to be the one that was “right” and in charge. There were 7 of us and only one table that would accomodate us. It was dirty so I asked that it be cleaned - my mom’s immune system makes her vulnerable so I wanted to ensure everything was as clean as it could be. Once we sat down, I realized we were sitting right under the speaker. The music wasn’t unreasonable loud, but my dad is hard of hearing. I asked if the music could be turned down just a tad and explained the reason for this request. The answer that came back was that they weren’t allowed to touch the radio. By this time we’re were the only people in the restaurant - and at the only table that would fit all of us - so my dad had to be left out of most of the conversation. Once our food arrived, the orders were correct, but my taco meat was room temperature and the taco shell was broken. By this time I had given up on anything improving so I just threw it away. I hate that this is our only option in Sterling City. Gas station food may be a better option next time. Do any of them have seating?

We got to the restaurant at 4:15 my mom ordered a steak finger basket I ordered the number 4 that is a bacon cheese hungerbuster I told the young lady at the register who wasn't very friendly btw I wanted mustard no mayo no veggies. The first burger I got was covered in mayo and wasn't even the burger I ordered. I took it back female has attitude and tells me I said something else. Second burger i got had mustard and mayo on it after they asked if I wanted mustard the second burger was room temperature cheese was still cold one tiny piece of bacon. Took it back with attitude from female still the receipt says her name is Abby. She finally got the manager and got our money back. My mom's steak finger basket wasn't that good either toast was tough fries soggy. I've been to alot of dairy queens in different towns and this was by far my worst experience. I'll go get a hotdog from the gas station next time!
