  I just wanted to take a moment to say thank you to the lady in the black shirt. I was attending a teacher event, and she was the banquet host assisting with the event at the time. My group had already left, and I was in a situation where I really needed assistance getting to the bathroom. She was so kind, patient, and genuinely caring. She went above and beyond to make sure I was okay and stayed with me to make sure everything went smoothly. There was also a gentleman who helped her assist me, and I truly appreciate him as well. What meant the most to me was that she didn’t just see it as doing her job. She showed genuine compassion and made sure I felt safe and taken care of during a moment when I really needed help. We need more people like her in this world. Her kindness truly made a difference in my experience, and I will never forget how she went above and beyond for me. Thank you so much to both of them for their kindness and for making what could have been a difficult moment so much easier.

  I just want to take a moment to share my experience because, despite the issues we had, one manager really stood out to me.My family and I came in hoping to enjoy ourselves, but unfortunately, we waited about 30–40 minutes before a server came over to assist us. I eventually went to the front desk and asked to speak with a manager. I spoke with a Black female manager whose name I unfortunately didn’t get.She was extremely kind, respectful, and genuinely concerned about what was happening. She listened to me, apologized, and did everything she could to help. She even offered to take care of my meal because of the long wait. She also asked that, if we enjoyed the service she provided, we leave a review and share our experience.Because of how helpful and professional she was, I didn’t want to leave a negative survey without acknowledging her effort. She really tried to turn a frustrating situation around for me and my family, and I truly appreciate that.I’ve worked in the restaurant industry for over 25 years, so I understand how important guest relations and service are. A 30–40 minute wait to even be greeted by a server is definitely something that needs to be addressed. I would encourage management to work with the serving staff on guest relations, communication, and making sure guests are being acknowledged in a timely manner.That being said, I will come back again. I did enjoy myself overall, and I truly appreciate the manager who took the time to help us. I just wish I had gotten her name so I could give her the recognition she deserves.

  My husband and I sat at the bar waiting on some friends. I ordered the Philly cheese rolls and my husband ordered a combo appetizer which came with 4 Philly rolls, chicken, hot chicken wings, but we ordered lemon pepper, and cheese sticks. The meat looked like a mystery and the service was horrible. I asked for 2 shots for my husband and I because the drink was weak. The young lady made our drinks then she just walked off. We waited forever just to get additional assistance but even sure if our orders were placed for food. Then another bartender came around and she really made me 😡. I ask for 2 shots and she went and took additional orders and never came back. Unfortunately I had to give her the business. The other bartender came back and said she was in a meeting. If it wasn't for the games we played I would give this establishment 1 star out of 5.

  I registered 5 kids for the Kids Bowl Free special. The special states kids are allowed 2 games per day for free--just pay for shoe rentals and cutoff is at 5 pm. It started out well, but after our first game ended, we looked at their menu, but our screen timed out while we were looking. I went to the front to let them know we only played 1 game and we wanted to start our 2nd. The staff said my time was out. I explained that if there was a time limit, it needed to be stated on their website and was not. Coupon clearly states 2 free games per day. A 2nd employee (our server) chimed in and said our time was up. I told her the same thing. She said she'd closed out the game. Eventually the manager was called over and he agreed (in front of both workers) that we get our 2nd game. They tried the same excuse with him, but he waved them off and gave us what the coupon said. However, they had us move from Lane 3 to Lane 17 (literally other side of alley). I think we made it through 3 frames before the game just ended without warning (10 min). Went back to the front and had the same conversation. Instead of arguing with the girls, I asked for the manager. He took a really long time and didnt make it to the front desk, but I spotted him looking over by our lane so I walked over and spoke with him again. By this time (after all the waiting), it was 5, so he said our time was really out, but since we've been having all these issues, he asked if it was fine if he just gave us an additional 40 min of play time. I agreed since it was getting late. I asked if there was a time limit and the manager said no, so I asked him to tell his staff that special is for 2 free games, not a set time limit. This will cost them future business. I was planning to invite more people to do the kids bowl free event, but it was such a hassle to get them to honor their deal that I won't be inviting others.

  I will never return to this Main Event location. We love Main Event and regularly visit the Tomball (249) and Shenandoah locations, so we chose Stafford for my son’s 11th birthday because it was more convenient for our family. We paid about $360 for the Teen All-Access Party, which included one hour of bowling with food service, followed by two hours of unlimited arcade, laser tag, and gravity ropes. The problems started immediately. Our 2:30 party was seated on time, but our bowling lane was only set up for one player and couldn’t be fixed until 3:07, costing us over 35 minutes of our one-hour bowling time. To make matters worse, they only assigned us one lane even though it only allowed six bowlers and our party included eight kids. I was initially told I’d have to pay for a second lane. A manager eventually approved it, but only two kids were allowed to bowl on it or I’d be charged more. It made no sense. 3 male coworkers off shift, came to hang out with our 3 girl hosts.Throughout the party, our hosts spent a significant amount of time standing in our party area talking with coworkers while guests had to squeeze past them just to get food and drinks. blocking our area , being kind of loud laughing and talking for a good amount of time. Maybe 20/25 min. I am constantly saying excuse me to grab food or drinks Nobody thinks to move away from the center of our party area. This is annoying me but I don’t directly say anything we just keep saying excuse me and are going around them I ended up serving my own guests. An extra pizza I ordered was forgotten until I reminded them, the fries were stale, and the bowling lanes went down multiple times. The hosts also repeatedly asked if we were ready to move to the arcade before our bowling hour was finished. Then, before our delayed bowling time was even over, one of our lanes shut off and was never restarted despite us mentioning it. The most frustrating moment came while I was recording my son opening birthday presents. A host interrupted me twice, tapping me on the shoulder to demand payment of the party tab, even after I asked her to wait a few minutes. My husband had to leave the celebration to pay the bill, interrupting a special moment for absolutely no reason. Later we discovered none of the kids could use the gravity ropes because we had never been given the required wristbands. I asked for a manager. Mr. Tarov (I apologize if I misspelled his name) was kind, listened to every concern, and said he’d fix it. After waiting about 15 minutes, another manager came over, apologized, but had an excuse for every issue. For example, regarding the payment interruption, he claimed he told the staff “not to rush payment” and they must have misunderstood and heard “rush payment”. That explanation honestly made the situation more frustrating. By the time we finally received the wristbands, many of the kids had already left, so they never got to use one of the attractions included in the party package. The only compensation offered was three one-hour bowling coupons. Considering multiple children missed out on attractions we paid for, that was extremely disappointing. Every child should have received some form of compensation for the bowling and the gravity ropes they were jot able to use. This experience was nothing like the service we’ve always received at the Tomball and Shenandoah Main Event locations. We paid for services that were not fully provided, and my son’s birthday was negatively impacted because of repeated mistakes and poor management. I won’t be returning to this location and will be voicing my complaints on reviews, FB and Tiltok, they literally robbed me of my 360.
