  Ordered 2 pounds of crawfish… the worst 2 pounds of crawfish I have had over the 2026 season. Crawfish had been dead long before it was boiled. Couldn’t even take a bite without the crawfish falling apart like soggy bread. Zero taste in the actual meat and if it wasn’t for there seasoning and butter it would be like eating paper. Didn’t even finish a pound. Rest of the food for the table was great!

  We enjoyed our crawfish, of varying sizes, and the service and pricing was decent. I would come back, including to try some other interesting items on the menu.

  I am not usually one to write a review. I saw that Willies was having a teacher appreciation special so I went with my family. I confirmed with the person taking my order that teachers get a free queso. I did not have my teacher badge on me, but showed the cashier a picture of me with my students, as well as my name that appears in the staff directory. Even after this, I was denied a free queso because I did not have my physical ID on me. I completely understand the need for verification, but I offered two other clear-cut ways to prove I am a teacher and was still denied. When the manager (or shift lead, not sure) was brought over, she directed her clarifying comments to the cashier, not me, who was standing right in front of her. I would have been more understanding had she just engaged in conversation with me.

  Brighton took care of our to go order tonight. Burgers and fries were great. One little snag was we received a unsweet tea instead of sweet. I know he will make it right next time.

  We tried Willie’s Grill & Icehouse for the first time and had a great experience. We live just up the road, so this was an easy choice and it didn’t disappoint. When you walk in, you order at the front and they give you a number, which made things quick and simple. There are plenty of options on the menu. I went with the spicy chicken sandwich, my wife got the chicken fried chicken with two sides, and we ordered chicken tenders for our son. My wife also had a margarita. One of the main reasons we picked this spot was the sandbox on the patio for kids, and it absolutely delivered our toddler loved it and stayed entertained the whole time. The food came out quickly and everything tasted great. Our server, Zoe, was fantastic, friendly, efficient, and consistently checked in on us. You want Zoe to be your server. We’ll definitely be coming back.
