Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

- AMantwoine marshall4 days ago1.0The wait time for receiving your order is always at least 5 minutes. The food is substandard. Also, they are stingy with their hamburger toppings. If you ask for extra tomatoes, they'll give you two slices instead of one. Horrible place to eat at.

- THTerry HJun 22, 20262.0Whataburber is usually 5+ stars. This rating is for THIS Whataburger. We ordered a meal and 3 burgers all with cheese to go. It took a LONG time even for Whataburger, but we finally got our food. We got in the car and divided up the food and my wife noticed her burger had no cheese. She whent in to let them know and to get it fixed and the litterally handed her a piece of cheese in a burger wrapper. She asked if she could get it melted on ther meat and they said they could not bring her burger back to the grill. The did not even offer to make here a new one with the cheese meltd on correctly!. She tried to get the cheese on but the bun was soggy from the meat and the whole sandwich fell apert. We stopped and got her a new burger at Burger king were they still "make it your way" unlike THIS whataburger. The kids working the back would probably do better if they stopped with the gossip and got off their phones.

This time fries didnt seem fresh like they just redropped it or its been sitting for a few mins because it didnt have the same texture as something just made. Service was decent at best today. The young lady thats usually here taller blonde lady isn't here. .food and service is always better when shes here guess its her day off.
