Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

- ELEmaline LewisMay 7, 20261.0I went to pick up an online order and when I told them the name they silently handed me someone else’s order. When I realized, I told them and got no apology. They took back the meal, and placed mine out of reach for what felt like a minute. I just stood there staring at it. Finally someone handed it to me, still not saying anything. I left, but then realized I got no ketchup even though I asked for extra. I came back and talked to someone who felt like they could’ve potentially been a manger. I told him what happened, and he seemed puzzled but caring (which I appreciated). This was the last straw for me. I’ve worked in fast food before, I know it’s not easy, but when I go to this location it feels like I have nothing but problems. When I went back to my job, I casually told a customer what happened and they agreed saying “that location sucks, they only gave me half of my order the last time I went.”. This crew needs to work on accuracy and having some manners. I’m not asking for fake plastic smiles; I just want to feel like I matter when I’m spending my money.

Despite a lunch rush, the speed of service was top-notch—I was in and out in no time. I’m also picky about my sides, but these fries were exceptional: golden, salty, and stayed crisp until the last bite. Great job to the team working here!
