I am extremely disappointed with the service at this McDonald's location. My recent visit was incredibly frustrating due to multiple recurring issues. Firstly, when trying to order a simple meal for my 5-year-old, I was unable to get an ice water as part of the meal. Instead, I was forced to deconstruct the meal, paying separately for the nuggets, fries, and water. This is an unnecessary hassle and an added expense when all I wanted was a basic meal for my child. Beyond that, this location consistently fails to include requested sauces, gets orders incorrect, and the staff frequently displays a significant attitude problem. It's truly unacceptable to experience such a lack of basic customer service and accuracy, making for a consistently negative experience.

I don’t usually post reviews because I’ve worked in the fast food and restaurant industry since I was 16, so I understand the challenges of balancing customer service while also keeping up with everything happening in the kitchen. Because of that, I usually give people the benefit of the doubt. However, I can’t stay quiet about my experience today, especially for those who may not feel comfortable speaking up about theirs. This Sunday around 5:30 PM, I was doing Uber Eats, which I’ve been doing on the side for the past couple of months. I accepted an order at this Sterling Ridge location. Since I had been driving and working for a while, I also placed a mobile order for myself so I could grab a quick bite to eat at the same time. The moment I walked in and waited at the counter, the manager or expo employee immediately said, “Who are you here for?” There was no greeting, no eye contact, and no basic acknowledgment. Having worked in restaurants myself, I understand that delivery drivers can sometimes add pressure during busy shifts, especially when everyone is focused on speed. But the tone and passive-aggressive attitude directed toward someone who was not only picking up a delivery order but was also a paying customer with a mobile order was disappointing. I know firsthand that delivery services have helped restaurants increase sales, especially since COVID. They have become an important part of many businesses. Experiences like this reflect on the management of a location, particularly one in an affluent area. It says a lot about how people are treated when they’re simply trying to do their job. The Woodlands may feel far from Houston, but it’s still part of the greater Houston area, one of the most diverse communities in the country. I hope this location recognizes how important it is to serve that community with respect and to treat delivery partners, customers, and anyone who walks through the door with the same kindness and professionalism.

Terrible service. Upon returning they continue to mess up my order and serve me disgusting food that is nasty and burnt. Would not recommend and will not return.

Saw someone wait 30 minutes to get a happy meal and large soda. I personally had to wait 25 minutes before anyone checked what order I was waiting for.
