Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

- LCLaura CMay 9, 20261.0After having a very hard day helping my sick dad and hours of traveling, I come here for a very late dinner with still another hour of traveling to do, and I’m told to park at the VIP drive thru spot. Waiting for my food- employee comes out and asks me what I’m waiting for. Explain- my order. He’s like okay. Leaves then comes back again and says my order was entered wrong or something like that and I’m kind of annoyed because I only had one hamburger and I’m not sure why it’s taking so long. He mocks me with my intonation. Then when my food comes, he’s like “thank you for your patience.everything is fresh don’t burn your mouth”. Great customer service

We walked in last night with a group of 30 theater students just an hour before closing, and the staff handled it like absolute pros. They were friendly, patient, and kept the atmosphere fun—even with our loud, energetic group. They did let us know (very kindly) that we couldn’t stay past midnight, which was completely fair and communicated in such a respectful, upbeat way. What really impressed me is that I came back today with another large order for the same group, and even with a completely different staff, the experience was just as amazing. Same kindness, same efficiency, same great attitude. It’s rare to see that level of consistency and genuine hospitality. Huge thanks to the whole team for making our theater crew feel so welcome!

He remained calm, even though there were a bunch of people there and is a very hard worker and good listener.
