Came in for an early lunch on a weekday. The restaurant was hot, around 80 degrees inside. We weren’t given silverware. Ordered a turkey melt that was supposed to have Brie cheese on it according to the menu and it was basically 2 slices of Oscar Meyer turkey and mayo with nothing else. No one came to check on the table so we finally had to get up and find someone and the manager told us that the mayo was the Brie. This is a $20 sandwich melt with no actual melted cheese. There was only one other table when we came in an we couldn’t seem to get timely service for anything we needed.

We made our brunch reservation three weeks in advance for 12 people at 11:00 a.m., so the restaurant had plenty of notice to prepare for our party. It’s also worth noting that the restaurant was nowhere near busy when we arrived. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing from beginning to end. It took nearly an hour for just two meals to reach the table, and both were completely cold. We let our server know, and rather than immediately correcting the issue, we were told it would take a long time to get replacement meals. When the food finally did come out again, it was still cold and meals were served sporadically rather than together. By 1:30 p.m.—two and a half hours after our reservation—we finally asked to speak with a manager. She seemed unsure of how to handle the situation and eventually apologized and offered 20% off the bill. Unfortunately, the service still did not improve. Another manager later offered us a mimosa, which we declined because at that point we simply wanted to leave. Having experience in the food service industry myself, I understand that things go wrong. What was most disappointing was the lack of urgency or genuine concern in making it right. We were not looking for a free meal or a “payday.” A sincere apology, better communication, and a reasonable adjustment to the bill—such as 50% off the food and removing one of the mimosas—would have gone a long way. Mistakes happen, and I can be very understanding when they do. But cold food, extremely long waits, and poor service over a two-and-a-half-hour brunch, followed by management seeming to treat it as though it wasn’t a significant issue, made this experience unacceptable.

Ironic I'm making this post before closing time since Jane closes at midnight and we were rudely asked to leave an hour prior to then. Noah was the bartender but we were hosted by a very kind and generous female waitress prior to our last encounter with Noah. My wife and I had 2 drinks before being informed it was last call. We order a final round around 11p under the assumption that 12a was the closing time. Since many other parties were arriving and departing during this period, we didn't think it rude to stay a bit longer and enjoy our last glass of wine. However, Noah made I very clear upon approaching us shortly after 11pm that "we should finish up and leave, now. The bar was closed". Noah made it very apparent that he was ready for us to go and had no patience for us to stay any longer. Noah became quite rude and irritated, and escalated the conversation, so we decided to leave before finishing our drinks. Some arguments ensued, the bird was flipped, and the night ended with a lost customer who simply wanted to enjoy an evening drink during business hours. What a shame.

We recently visited Jane in Southlake, and it has become one of our favorite spots. Since the new management took over, the food has been absolutely outstanding - every dish we’ve tried has been fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The cocktails are excellent, with creative options and perfectly balanced flavors. The atmosphere is warm, stylish, and inviting, making it a great place for date night, happy hour, or catching up with friends. The patio is especially nice for relaxing with a glass of wine on a beautiful evening. The restaurant is always clean, the staff is genuinely friendly and attentive, and the overall experience is consistently top-notch. If you haven’t been lately, it’s definitely worth another visit. Highly recommend!
