  We’ve been to Jane several times and always had a great experience. Tonight it was exceptional! We had a little accidental Spill of water and the management and serving team went above and beyond to make up for it. They were SO GREAT. For something that was no big deal. Go to Jane. Watch football, drink good wines, pay for great service. They rock. Good on you Jane! We will continue to come back.

  We chose to have our welcome dinner the night before our wedding at Jane. All I can say is that we had a fantastic experience there. The food, the service, everyone involved at Jane went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. We had zero issues the entire night and the space accommodated all of us very well. Jane will always hold a special place in our hearts now. If you are considering having an event at Jane, let this review tell you that they will work very hard to make your vision come true. Special shout out to Blayke who helped coordinate the entire night. We appreciate all of you!

  My son and his wife took my husband and I to Jane for a nightcap a few weeks ago. We didn’t have a chance to eat or drink anything so we can’t rate the “food” because the service was beyond terrible! The bartender was extremely drunk and/or under the influence of other substances - and she was left alone and in charge of three underage employees!!!! Thankfully, nobody else was in the bar. The bartender kept slurring her words, high-fiving us, and dropping eff bombs. She asked us no less than a 6 times what we wanted to drink. She was stumbling around and attempted to make one drink. She dropped the shot glass, picked it up and used it without cleaning it to make my husband’s old fashioned. She asked if I wanted gin in my espresso martini?! The three underage staff were apologizing and eventually distracted her so we could simply leave. I called and spoke with the manager the following day. I shared what happened and stated that the bartender probably needs help but most importantly she should not be left in charge of young staff. What a horrible example! I would be furious if I was one of their parents! The manager was kind and said she would have the owner named Paul call me. Paul called two days later and apologized and asked if he could send me a gift card. When I explained we weren’t local but our son and DIL were, he asked me to send their contact information so he could “personally apologize to them” right away and send them a gift card. He explained that “this isn’t how they do business” and begged us to try one of his other locations (Ro in Roenoke or another one of their locations). I text Paul my son’s contact information that day. After several days, my son said he never heard from Paul so I texted him to follow up. He responded and said he had been sick and he would have his Director of OPs call my son (he punted). Nobody ever called. Clearly, lack of service is a problem from the top-down. This is a cultural issue. If the owner doesn’t follow through on basic customer service skills and allows drunk staff to treat customers and minor staff this way, then they don’t deserve our business ever again!

  Enjoyed a Sunday brunch at Jane with five of my girlfriends. It was a wonderful atmosphere and we had the sweetest server, Mari. I was surprised it wasn’t busier! We will be back. We enjoyed shared appetizers and the $6 Bloody Marys!

  We visited Jane for a friend’s birthday and had a bit of a mixed experience, but I’d definitely give it another try. The food was terrific — everything we ordered was delicious, from the appetizers and sandwiches to the sliders and dessert. The espresso martini was great too! Service was the weak spot of the evening. Our servers were very young and seemed to be new, and unfortunately it showed. The bar was also backed up most of the night, so drinks were slow to arrive even though the restaurant didn’t seem overly crowded. What really helped was the manager. They checked on our table several times, were aware that things weren’t going smoothly, and made adjustments to try to make things right. I really appreciated that. Bottom line: there are definitely some service kinks to work out, but the food was good enough that I’d absolutely give Jane another chance. Hopefully once the newer staff gets a little more experience, the service will catch up with the kitchen!
