My favorite is Hudson Oaks location. The staff is absolutely the best. I go for the hot mocha, I'm more into the sweet and daughter goes for the novelty drinks If this is your vibe go see them they will treat you right

I ordered Dutch Bros through the app this morning. I placed my order at 9:40 a.m., and the app gave me a pickup time of 9:47 a.m. I left my house immediately, and the store is only about two miles away, so I pulled up around 9:47. The store was a little busy, with people waiting outside and a line in both lanes. What happened next is why I’m leaving this review. Dutch Bros has a sign that says “Pick the shortest lane.” The left lane had at least seven cars backed up, while the right lane had only one, so I followed the sign and got into the right lane. The employee taking orders continued taking orders from the left lane and never came up to my window. Luckily, the people in line were actually being courteous and doing a zipper merge, so I was able to merge appropriately. When I finally got to the window, the employee said, “You have a banana bread freeze.” I told her, “No, I have a mobile order for Ashley.” She then looked for my order and asked her coworkers to start making it. Meanwhile, the employee who had been taking orders started delivering drinks that were already made to the cars behind me. Then he came inside and stood near the window where I was waiting. He started talking to his coworkers about how “this vehicle” had cut in front of everyone else. I think it’s pretty fair to assume he was talking about me, especially since my drinks weren’t ready and he had never come over to take my order in the right lane. He even admitted during the conversation that he didn’t see me. Well, if you didn’t see me and didn’t take my order, that’s not my fault. I followed the instructions on your own sign. What bothered me most was the way he was talking about the situation within earshot of customers. Both he and the employee at the window also seemed annoyed, which made the experience even more uncomfortable. To close: Don’t be annoyed and complain about someone “cutting” the line when Dutch Bros literally has a big sign telling customers to “Pick the shortest lane.” If an employee misses a customer because they aren’t paying attention to the other lane, the customer shouldn’t be blamed for it.

I pulled up with a mobile order that hadn’t quite processed yet by the time I made it to the window. The worker assisting me was trying to get me to just order at the window so it would be faster, though I had already paid, so I suggested I just park in a spot and wait. She continued to ask “just tell me what you ordered so I can get it in”. I had started to explain the drink I had ordered, however, I had made changes to the drink and that’s why I originally wanted to use the app. After I had parked, I walked up to the window and was greeted with the drink - but none of the changes had been made. It was as if they knew I was waiting, didn’t want to make the changes, so they didn’t. I have worked in food service, and I completely understand wanting to be efficient and get the order complete. I have also been to Dutch bros plenty of times and have always been pleased with my drink and my service. I very rarely leave a review, but the way I was rushed just to end up with a drink without any of the changes I had requested through the app was pretty annoying.

The drive-up windows are so confusing. It says to go to the shortest line, but if you do that, you sit there forever. They don't go back and forth to the cars like it says; they finish up the regular line and then go to the other side. If you're not going to utilize both lines, then shut down the other side.

This was the very first Dutch Bros I visited when they came to the area, and it quickly became my favorite coffee stop. Ever since that first visit, I’ve found myself looking for a Dutch Bros everywhere I go! Recently, I started coming back to this Alta Mesa location, and Ivan has made every visit even better. He always has great drink recommendations, is genuinely friendly, and does an amazing job remembering his customers, which makes every visit feel personal. It’s employees like Ivan who keep people coming back. Great coffee, great service, and a consistently welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommend!
