Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun.     Ive been here a few times, and there is usually like a 10 minute wait in the drive through, the staff and management here needs to be retrained. Cold or old patties in at least half my orders, and on more than a few occasions, I get the wrong order, only to notice when I get home. Its close, but this was my last time here, I wont be back.

    Food is the same as every Whataburger I've ever been to, pretty good for fast food, but they messed up the online order. It's not like something was lost in conversation, it was there in black and white, the burger itself is a double so I should have two patties, but only came with one and half of the ingredients it was supposed to have on it. Unfortunately that was not the only thing messed up on the order, they were other issues with every other order as well. Even the things that weren't modified had issues. This time and last were about the same. They have inattentive staff that didn't pay attention to the waiting customers, didn't pay attention to your order, and were generally unbothered about the customers. Overall really lousy experience. On the positive, it was clean, and the place still looks new.

    Been going here for almost a year, like the food, try to go multiple time a week for breakfast, but the wait is way to long, four cars deep will put you at 20 min vs. <5 min at McDonald’s. Love the biscuits and gravy, but very difficult to eat when they give you no silverware. You don’t need my name for the order, you just need to up your game or mic-ds is going to put you out of business.

    05/07/26 | 9PM Went to the drive thru and waited 20 minutes. Could clearly see the blue haired employees just yapping away doing nothing. Had to walk inside from the drive through to get our food, because they wouldn't stop talking to eachother instead of doing their jobs. Food we paid for is cold now since we waited 25 minutes. No one else in line inside or outside ahead of us by the way. It's so blatantly obvious the good reviews are from the employees friends and families naming them to let them keep their jobs.

    This location needs to work on their practices. Having to be pulled to a parking spot to wait for a 3pc chicken strip meal is ridiculous. I was only at the window long enough to pay for the order. It's obvious they are just trying to keep their drive thru times low. The staff needs to pay attention more when the customers are ordering. I've never been to a whataburger that pulled everyone up to parking spots rather than having the food ready. Multiple people that were parked had to go inside to be taken care of. Do better. When the food was delivered to the car it was covered in what appears to be some condiment. It was also on the box the fries were in. I will not be back.
