It’s like they cut up shrimp or take parts, peace it back together, stick a tail on the end to make it look like a shrimp but I have never seen a shrimp the width of a pencil and square. Tempura is my all time fav food and I’ve tried it at 30-40 different places in my life and this just doesn’t even classify as tempura in my mind. It didn’t taste bad it’s just not real shrimp tempura and I was very disappointed. Guess I have to drive to McKinney to get good tempura. It just does not exist out of the metroplex. Ps. I can go to a high end restaurant and pay the exact same price and get the real deal. I was so excited to try it but oh well.
