  Husband and I came in , got seated and took them almost 15 minutes to ask if we wanted anything to drink. Mind you, 2 other tables came in behind us were serviced immediately! Waitress never came back to check on us, took 58 minutes to get our food . Another waitress brought it, and you can tell it was just sitting . Husband steak was completely red on inside and we both asked for well done. Butter wouldn't melt completely on the steaks which proved that it wasn't hot. The waitress that brought our food asked us what we were drinking just for her to not bring anything. We had to make our waitress acknowledge us for my husband to ask for a refill. This is ridiculous !!!!

  It's been a little while since I've been to saltgrass. Just because the poor service I received in the past. This time service was better, steak was cooked correctly which is an improvement from my last few experiences. However, saltgrass has the word steakhouse in the title. To me. They should get your steak cooked properly every single time you visit. That's my expectation.

  Unfortunately, my experience at this restaurant was very disappointing. The bartender, Catalina, did not provide what I would consider 100% customer service. She had her back toward us for most of the time, did not smile, and seemed to have an attitude when I left her a tip. I always tip because it is something I believe in, and I was simply being courteous. However, based on the way I was treated, I was left wondering whether bias or discrimination played a role in the interaction. Unfortunately, the food was also disappointing. The bread served with the fondue was hard and did not taste good, and the chicken-fried steak was overcooked. Overall, this was not the experience I expected. Based on both the service and the food, I will not be returning to this restaurant.

  This has been a place we have wanted to eat at for a while. The waitress Zoe, was new, 5 months, but she sure knew what people like us wanted. My standard question to just about mid-fine dining, if I only eat one thing from this restaurant and never return what should I get. Glazed Pork Chops she says. Wow she was right. We had a great waitress, fantastic food and really enjoyed the Texas/western theme. This a few steps up from Texas Roadhouse.

  We made reservations for 16 people at 3:30, got seated about 4:00, they didn’t have the table ready. Not a problem, we were ok with the wait. We were waiting for more guess to come, found out there was only 13, 2 of the 13 had not arrived when one of the managers came over, his name was Roy, and started taking a table away stating we could have the remaining guest set on the ends, not enough room, but he needed that table for other people, he was very rude, he wouldn’t provide his last name, said Roy was all I needed, so for Roy I would give him a rating of 00. The restaurant general manager was excellent, our servers were excellent and the food was excellent.
