Came here to celebrate a graduation the food was very excellent the complimentary salsas and bean dip were all very flavorful. Had a guacamole starter that was very good we all enjoyed our meals and the portions were very generous! My only gripe is that our server seemed very displeased with having to take care of us. As a fellow server it was very disappointing he didn’t acknowledge that we were celebrating a graduation and every step of the way he really just seemed so bothered it could’ve just been a bad day which I understand but either way it did take a little away from the experience overall 4/5

We visited Gloria’s on Mother’s Day (2pm), so we expected it to be busy and were patient with the wait. We sat at the bar since it was just the two of us and found two open seats, but they had dirty dishes on them. We asked the bartender if we could sit there and were told to wait a moment, but she walked away and didn’t return, so another bartender eventually came over and he cleared the area for us. After we got seated, service felt very slow from the beginning. We ordered drinks, and while water was offered, it was never brought to us during our entire visit. My mom’s drink arrived first, and I was told mine would take a while, which was fine, but after about 20–30 minutes we still hadn’t received water, my drink, or any follow-up about placing our food order. Meanwhile, we noticed other guests who arrived 25ish min after us were being attended to more quickly with drinks, water, and food orders being taken. We caught our server at the register so we let her know we were ready to order once she had a moment. When we were finally able to order, it had already been about 40 minutes since we arrived. Our bartender/server, Dayana, took the order and left. When the food eventually came out, another staff member served it, and we again had to specifically ask for water. Near the end, I asked for the check since service had been taking so long, and I had to catch her again at the register to receive it. She asked if everything was okay at that point, which was the only real check-in we received during the visit. Overall, the experience felt very inconsistent and disappointing. We were polite and patient the entire time, but we felt largely overlooked compared to other guests and had to repeatedly ask for basic service like water, utensils and follow-ups. It really felt like our server just did not like us and avoided us. She did not give eye contact while talking to us, and in a way we just felt like a inconvenience. Which is super disappointing.

Our service Victor is the reason why I didn't give a 5/5 rating. I asked for a Bud light because they didn't have a blender for the pina colada. He brought the bottles for my mother and I and didn't ask if I wanted a glass or not, needless to say of I wanted the glass cold or not. He walked away and didnt come back, so I had to get up and ask the manager for the glass. Victor came back bringing the appetizer side plates and served it from the left. which is the right way to serve, however, he went over me to put the plate on my mom's side of the table rather than getting between me and het to place her plate. I am aware that this is not The Hamptons, but it is also not Burger King, so I think Victor needs to be trained on how properly address the customers and serve the table.
