  A friend of mine and I came here for lunch around 1:30 on a Wednesday. Not busy at all (which was nice for us). Our servers name was amber and we loved her. She was very easy going and joked with us the whole time we were there. Food was fantastic, I got the seafood stuffed flounder with extra Cajun sauce and was in pain on the way out because I couldn’t stop myself from finishing it. We We will definitely be back to see Miss amber again.

  Disappointing experience. We recently visited Babins since we chose this restaurant to celebrate my mother’s birthday. Our waiter started out normal and friendly. But after we politely asked him if he could bring some extra sauce and a side of lemon wedges, he seemed annoyed at the request and began acting very aloof. It was really strange. He then seemed to be trying to rush us out. He just put the check on the table without even asking if we wanted dessert or anything else. To make matters worse, my mother said her shrimp was not fully cooked. What should have been a nice birthday lunch turned into a rather unpleasant experience. We definitely won’t be back.

  We moved away from the Houston area, and Babin’s is one of those restaurants we have been craving ever since! We were so excited to come back, and let me tell you, it did NOT disappoint! Our waitress, Trevor Thorson, was absolutely wonderful! She went above and beyond to make our return visit so special. She was attentive, thoughtful, and made us feel so welcome. Now, the FOOD! 😋 I ordered the Bourbon Street Pasta, and oh my goodness, it was unbelievably flavorful! It came out piping hot, just the way I like it, and I was pleasantly surprised by how generous they were with the seafood! Every bite was delicious! My husband ordered the snapper with crawfish étouffée and rice, and he loved it! I also had a Greek salad that was incredibly fresh, and even the bread was delicious! What really made our experience special was Trevor’s thoughtfulness. She carefully boxed up our leftovers and even gave us fresh bread, butter, and to-go silverware so we could enjoy everything again later at our hotel. Those little extra touches meant so much to us! We came back with high expectations because we remembered how good Babin’s was, and somehow this visit was even better! Between the amazing food and Trevor’s exceptional service, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Thank you, Trevor, for making our return visit so memorable! We will definitely be back whenever we’re in Houston! ❤️

  The server Lyle was amazing and patient and able to answer questions to accommodate my culinary desires. Great food and atmosphere! The house manager, Mary, was gracious and accommodating to a table behind us who kept complaining about their food. (They just wanted freebies...so sad!) We will be back! At the Woodlands location!

  ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We absolutely love Babin’s in The Woodlands! The food is consistently excellent, with wonderful traditional New Orleans flavors and a fun, welcoming atmosphere. Their gumbo is AMAZING—rich, flavorful, and one of our absolute favorites. 🥣🦐 If you’re craving delicious Cajun/New Orleans-style seafood without making the drive to Louisiana, Babin’s definitely hits the spot. Fantastic food and always a great experience! ⚜️❤️
