- JRJERRY REYESJul 16, 20261.0EDIT 1- 7/16/26 approx 530pm I spoke with a young supervisor named Caden regarding ANOTHER employee who wouldn’t stop staring at me today. Caden stated due to high theft in the area the employees monitor the customers. There’s one thing monitoring customers and another having a stare down contest, trying to intimidate a customer. I’ll be reporting them to corporate. I’m new to the town and most recently have been at this store throughout all times of the day. I work part time with DoorDash and Favor. Tonight, I encountered a female employee who was in her early 20s with glasses and a pimply face. She was monitoring the self checkout lanes and would not stop staring at me for one reason or another. Trying to figure out what she was looking at, I asked if I needed to place the shopping basket I used in another place. She sternly stated “ leave it there.” I didn’t understand why she was just looking at me, or why I was being given an attitude. It was extremely rude. She didn’t even say, “have a good night”, “Thank you for shopping”, Nothing. I hope the managers read these comments and please let their employees know that it is very rude to stare customers down in an intimidating way. At least say thank you, have a good night or say please and thank you when interacting with customers. If I see her again, I will definitely take a picture of her and report her to corporate. Other than that, this H-E-B has been pretty okay.
