We always end up talking about funny things that come up. We normally come during happy hour for this drinks if you know what I mean. Then one leads to another. It’s always a great time. Most of the time I have a free appetizer in my rewards! It’s like it never goes away. And that is what a single mama is talking about! Highly recommend coming here. The staff are so fast and efficient. It amazes me every time. If I could give 10 stars, best believe I would!

I enjoyed my seafood as always. But the bread pudding in bourbon sauce, I think it was, BEST I HAVE EVER HAD! And I've had it many times & I'm over 50. PLEASE KEEP IT UP! You have some loyal customers now.

You've seen the memes, and so have I. This place fuels these memes. The beauty of having a waiter is being waited on. When you go to Willie's Grill & Icehouse, you are expected to tip your waiter without being waited on. I have to go in there and wait in line, instead of having my order taken. I can get my own drink at the counter, fill it and walk it to my table. My food gets dropped off by a runner, and my re-fills are seldom, if at that. Server checks on me and may bring me a drink from the bar if I want one. I get it, I know there is staff and they are working to make my experience "better". At the end of the day this is a glorified cafeteria style restaurant that sprinkles some runners and """servers""" and expects me to tip 20 percent on services I did not fully receive. No thanks.
- AAamazing aJul 31, 20261.0If you're craving Willie's, do yourself a favor and go to the 281 location. The service, food, and overall experience there are far better than this Schertz location. We placed a to-go order and waited 53 minutes for our food—and the only reason we got it was because I finally went up and asked if it was ready. They handed us the bags, but neither one was even warm. When I opened them, it looked like the food had been sitting there the entire time. Nothing tasted fresh. I brought it to the attention of an employee, and her response was, "We can heat it up." She then got the manager, Rene. Unfortunately, he didn't seem concerned about the overall issue. He mentioned that it only takes 45 seconds to make the sweet potato fries and brought me a new order. While I appreciated the gesture, those fries were cold too. The fries were just one example—the entire meal was cold. To make matters worse, while we were waiting, we watched another customer sitting in their car repeatedly receive what appeared to be the wrong order or have issues with their food. We saw an employee going back and forth several times with food containers. At one point, she stopped inside near the trash can, opened a container, handled food with her bare hands, closed it back up, and took it back out to the customer. After three trips, there still seemed to be a problem, and as we were leaving, the manager went outside to speak with them. Between the extremely long wait, cold food, lack of urgency, and what I observed during food handling, I can't recommend this location. Save yourself the time and money and go somewhere else. If you want to try Willie's, I highly recommend the 281 location instead.
