Total Scam!!! Their prices are so much higher than the stores in the City of Denton. Even their sister store Albertson is cheaper. They IGA/BURRIS was a litte higher than Denton prices, but that was expected because they did not have the volume for discounts. TT has no excuse. Between all the TT, Randall, and Albertsons, they get the volume discounts. They just pocket it instead of sharing it with the customers. This store would go out of business if they had any competition
Please Lord, bring a HEB here. Heck, even a Walmart Super Center would be so much better.
They advertise their specials that lower the price to a fair market value, but only if you have their member card. Of course, that allows them, and any other entity to whom they sell the data, to track your preferences and harass you with target adds.
No thanks. I will go to HEB in Argyle or WinCo in Denton. They have fair market prices for all without a member card.
A couple of examples:
Jimmy Dean Breakfast Criossants: WinCo 18/$12.xx
TT: 8/$14.xx
Dr. Pepper 6 pack 16.9 Oz
WinCo: $3.56
TT: $7.xx or $3.xx with the sell your data card.
Even the QT across the street has more economical prices on some things.
I only go in this place if I absolutely have to due to constraints.
They will answer to the Lord for their extortion of those who cannot drive to Denton, Dallas, or Fort Worth.
It may not be criminal, but it is immoral.

I waited to give a review until the store had time to work out the kinks from being brand new. However I had hoped it being new was the problem with customer service and now there is no excuses from being new it has failed on many levels. I just called to see when the deli closed. Alex informed me that it closed at 8, but it was too late to get anything 20 mins till 8 because he was breaking down the deli to start to clean it. I asked again, I thought you said 8, he said with it being 20 mins before 8 that the store was short handed and couldn't accommodate that close to closing as he giggled in a boyish way. So I am confused does the deli close at 8 or 7:30? Or does the deli close whenever the person working it decides it closes? I was mins away from there thus why I called to make sure I could still get something. I can go into details of other instances of no one working other areas of the stores but I think I have gotten my point across. I know the deli closes at 8 at Albertsons and I have been there many times 15-20 mins till 8 and they have always been happy to serve you. Sad that Tom Thumb is way closer but I will drive to Denton that way I know the deli actually closes when they say it closes. Tom Thumb needs to do better with explaining to their employees what closing times actually mean, apparently Alex doesn't understand, or maybe Alex just needs some help according to his remarks and giggles about being short handed.

I did the pick up option this time. (where they shop for you) And everything went smooth as usual until I got to the deli chicken tenders. On the app I had a choice of original cold and original hot which I would think would mean out of the deli case or out of the chilled case. Nu-uh. They were getting dried out yet good enough but they lit my you know what on fire. And I got 2 lbs of the (wrong) stuff. Imagine if I actually picked the spicy.
Edit: after reviewing the receipt I discovered that those tenders were supposed to be 6.99 a pound thanks to a digital coupon and they charged 9.99 a pound. Big difference between 14 bucks and 20. Now I gotta make the 20 min drive back up there tomorrow and try to get em to make it right. This isn't the 1st time they overcharged me either.
