  I absolutely had to write a review to recognize the store manager, Demetrius, for the incredible experience he provided for my grandmother yesterday.She went into the store with a shopping list, and instead of just pointing her in a general direction, Demetrius personally walked her through her list, helping her find every single item. He was incredibly polite, patient, and super helpful the entire time.It is truly a blessing when elderly people are genuinely assisted with respect, rather than just being passed along from aisle to aisle to get lost. My grandmother couldn't stop talking about how wonderful he was when she got home! Demetrius deserves immense praise for his outstanding customer service. We need so many more people like him in management. Thank you, Demetrius!

  Every time my wife and I step into this Tom Thumb, we know we’re in good hands. We are in here so often that we’re practically part of the furniture, but there is one young man easy to spot with his long black hair and colorful jacket who truly makes every visit a pleasure. Being retired, we sometimes take our time, and we frequently find ourselves wandering the aisles looking for that one elusive item. Without fail, he is there to greet us with genuine kindness. He never acts like we’re a bother, even though he’s probably helped us find the same three things a dozen times! It is a rare blessing these days to encounter someone who clearly takes such pride in their work and treats customers with such patience and respect. He is a huge asset to this store and a bright spot in our weekly routine. Thank you for hiring people who truly care!

  It is a good addition to sanger. They have a good variety of groceries medicine and other things someone may need. Their workers tend to be nice and helpful.

  Usually I don't have an issue shopping here, as it is convenient whenever I need a quick pick-me-up so I don't have to drive into Denton or Gainesville. However, yesterday was the first time since the store opened where I have had an issue. I was picking up a few items for someone else, as they were sick and couldn't shop themselves. I was looking for a particular type of laxative that I didn't see on the shelf in the section where it was supposed to be. After having no luck trying to look it up to see if they actually carried it at that particular store, I stopped the first associate I saw, which happened to be a girl who worked in the online pickup department. She started off helpful, but she then blew me off when she got an incoming phone call from her store manager on her personal phone. She said something along the lines of, "Excuse me, I have to take this. It's my store director." Then walked off. She didn't bother asking me if I needed anything else or if I was finished asking any questions, or to have a nice day. I'm sorry, but no associate should be answering their phone, no matter who it is, when they are in the middle of helping a customer. It's rude and unprofessional. She could have waited until I was done and called back at a more convenient time. It just makes the store look bad if they think answering phone calls are more important than helping customers.
