had a very disappointing experience at this Sonic location on Highway 495 in San Juan.
After parking, I pressed the red button to place my order. Instead of being greeted, all I could hear through the speaker was an employee laughing and joking around with another coworker for several seconds before finally asking for my order.
I started ordering, but she couldn't understand me. My passenger then took over and clearly asked for two strawberry shakes with chocolate chunks. Even then, the employee couldn't understand such a simple order. My passenger had to repeat it about five times before the speaker went silent. Eventually, another employee—who sounded like a younger girl—got on the intercom and finally took our order.
At that point, I believe they took my passenger's frustration personally. We ended up waiting about 20 minutes with no food or update. I pressed the intercom again, and a different employee answered with a completely different tone, as if they thought we had already left. I asked if our order was ready, and all she said was, "It'll be out in a minute."
We continued waiting until the location closed we were the last order of the day . I wanted to get the names of the employees thats why i waited till closing to see if the names were on the receipt so I could report the incident, but sadly it happend like 2 weeks ago and i lost the reciept.
This level of customer service was extremely unprofessional. Employees should be paying attention to customers instead of joking around while people are trying to order. Unfortunately, after this experience, I'll be taking my business elsewhere.

Good options like burgers, corndogs, chicken, appetizers, slushies, and more. This location sometimes messes up my order, so I have to tell them so they can fix it.

They keep giving me flavorless slushies. Specifically the cherry/strawberry ones. Took the lid off to inspect why it was so flavorless and sure enough there was little to no flavoring/color. Its like drinking a water slushy with a hint of sugar. This has happened multiple times now. Unfortunately, this is the closest sonic which is why I have returned. Not after this time.

Love sonic with a passion ,I take my son as often cause they're the only one's to truly respect the customization from picky eaters and I love them for it I've never found a pickle in burger when requested to have one ,food is always hot and fresh even when late ,use the mobile app for deals as well you won't regret it.
