Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

They made me wait forever for my food and they told me to push forward since they have a timer going on when a car is by the window, and they tend to report different time numbers to corporate to show they are faster but sadly they still take forever to give the food out. I received my food after 30 minutes, I expected it to be nice and warm but it wasn’t it was cold. I also called to ask for the employees name and the manager Jose picked the phone up and gave me the excuse that he couldn’t give me the name since it was against their policy. I believe he was lying because other whataburgers have gave me employees names before and also employees when taking orders they have to give their name out. They also tend to bribe customer on leaving fake reviews to receive a free apple pie in exchange. I believe nothing could change a restaurant’s image if the management isn’t doing the correct thing to make the customer feel satisfied. The customer service and the managers need better attention or even need to replace all management since it’s been years of San Benito whataburger being this slow and known to having the worst customer experience in the whole valley. It’s always a disappointment with this whataburger.
