Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

The food is never fresh or hot and there’s always some kid with an attitude taking the orders and not taking them correctly blaming it on a technical issues. I get now a days we live in a society where people just don’t care about the food quality or even the customers but will gladly take their money for some below average food and service. And then want to cop an attitude when you want to say something. People work hard for their money the least they can do is serve fresh, hot food and do it minus the attitude! Do better!!

When it’s just me pulling up before work. To the line out to the street in the evening. And every one of those times the staff has been respectful. And the food, not once have I ever had cold or old food. Me and my son already know to open the bag when we get it so the fries can cool down Lol. Great staff and fresh food. Whatever’s happening behind those walls, keep it going.
