Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

The managers, Jamie especially, always make sure that every experience has been great and to make connections with the customers. I also Doordash from this location and have no complaints on that side either.

The food is always fresh, hot, and tastes just like you’d expect from Whataburger, but my favorite part is the staff!! They are always friendly and efficient, taking my order promptly and making sure everything comes out just like I ask :) So thank you to all my favorite crew at Whataburger on 211 and Potranco! <3 Isabel
- JRjorge RomeroApr 20, 20261.0I had a very disappointing experience here. My original order was wrong, and I wasn’t given a receipt, which made it harder to resolve the issue. When I called, Gabriel assured me that if I came back, the entire meal would be redone with no issue. I made the trip back the next day based on that promise, only to be told by Stefany that she could only replace one sandwich because of policy. I understand policies, but customers shouldn’t be penalized for mistakes made by the store—especially after being told something completely different by an employee. The inconsistency, the inconvenience of having to return, and the lack of communication between staff made this a very frustrating experience. I simply expected the store to honor what their employee promised.
