Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
Quick and efficient. Fries were cold and stale burger ok. It's the airport, it's going to be loud.

I frequently pass through SAT and with Whataburger being such a staple I generally try to grab a bit to eat before I have to work my flight. Consistently I will have 20 or so minutes and every single time it’s a guessing game on if I’ll get my order in time or not. This past time took the cake. I had 25 and figured I’d stop for 2 taquitos for breakfast. After spending about 15 mins in the line to order I figured since I’m not getting hash browns I should receive my order within 10 mins. Needless to say when I inquired about my order the staff looked at the monitor of orders with a puzzled look as if it didn’t show at all and then when proceeding to ask for an update no one had a clue. I informed the cashier that I wouldn’t be able to stick around as I have to get people to their destinations forever this recurring theme has to be addressed. Unfortunately I left with no food, no time to obtain a refund, and 25 mins wasted. To say I’m extremely disappointed and frustrated is an understatement.

Not bad for a burger at the airport. I thought the price was fair especially for an airport. Whataburger has a solid Burger and I always like to go to these. I had a flight get delayed today so I swung in for some lunch. Overall I was satisfied.

Great and efficient customer service. For a fast food restaurant at an airport the staff was very helpful, professional and clean. The line was so long, but the food came out very quickly. We can tell everything is quite fresh and you really appreciate that there is no corn syrup in the ketchup. Milkshakes are too sweet
