Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

The fries are never fresh. My chicken sandwich is always hot and on point, but they gave me Old and cold fries. I just don’t understand. I’m already waiting for a chicken sandwich. Why can’t you just drop fresh fries?

I never tried their burgers before because they don’t have any restaurant in Philadelphia area, but I heard they serve really good burgers. When I saw Whataburger restaurant in San Antonio immediately I walked in there. I ordered whataburger with cheese, double meat whataburger with cheese and chocolate brownie. I liked both of the burgers. Their sizes were good enough and the ingredients were very fresh. The bun was very soft and fresh too. My only complaint was they cooked the meat too much and it wasn’t juicy at all, even I told the cashier guy that I wanted both of the meat medium-cooked. Btw the chocolate brownie was delicious. It was very fresh too. The place was very clean and very well organized. The staff were friendly and helpful. Their location is great too. The place is located in the middle of downtown San Antonio and it’s very convenient for everyone. Their prices are very reasonable also.
