Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Our orders were correct on the receipt, but the food didn’t come out the way we ordered it. My food came out before my milkshake, and I actually had to ask for the milkshake that I had already paid for. When I mentioned it, all they said was, “Oh okay, we’ll make it right now.” Shouldn’t the milkshake have already been made with the rest of the order? Overall, I expected better service and attention to detail, especially from Whataburger.

The lady taking my order did not know how to take an order, and half of the sodas were out. The lobby was an absolute mess with drinks spilled everywhere and trash all over almost every table. There is no drive thru or curbside, so I don’t understand why it is a mess.

They were welcoming, respectful, and made sure my order was right. Even though it was busy, they stayed positive and treated everyone with kindness. Employees like them deserve recognition because they truly make the experience better. I’ll definitely be coming back!
