Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
The food was perfection for once however the cashier and manager were both at the the front and no one could be bothered to say hello or any type of acknowledgement when we walked up to the register to order. Even when I said hello, still nothing. The customer service needs work especially if the manager acted the same way.

Use to be my favorite location but in the last few months it has gone downhill. Every single time I go they forget something and when I call they act like it’s no big deal, they just say come back like it’s nothing….

The burgers we had were horrible tasting. You can taste either the freezer burn or the patties were old, but it was not good. We used to like eating here, now, not so much. The employee could care less. One bite was taken and that was considered "eaten" so my daughter couldn't get her money back. I personally witnessed a little kid.Grab one of the cups, play with it drop it on the floor and then put it back. None of the employees noticed because nobody was in the front watching anything for a while. Mostly because they were so backed up with orders, it took 30 minutes to get a whataburger Jr & med fry.

Came in during a slow time, and had an awful experience really. Sandwich was NOT in fact made “just like I like it.” Waited longer than usual, just for the fries to be cold. Was halfway through my fries by the time they came around asking if we needed ketchup (as if I hadn’t already asked for several ketchups upon ordering). Then I opened my sandwich and it had the wrong sauce. Sent it back for the correct sauce, and it came back with the wrong toppings. Quite frankly I was hungry and annoyed by this point so I just ate it (even though it didn’t have the bacon I paid a dollar more for). Will be going back to my favorite location next time aka NOT this one.

We ordered takeout from the kiosk in-store around 11pm on 7/17. The place was packed mostly with families, and the drive thru was also full. There was a slight wait but it's all worth it. Food was hot and delicious. Kudos to the gentleman who handed us our order (forgot to ask his name, sorry), he double checked to make sure we received the honey mustard and the "craft lemonade ". Thank you, sir!
