Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

- BGBessie GarciaOct 4, 20265.0Fries are usually always old just warmed up or cooked again then over cooked. Usually always get my order right. And most of the time the strips are old crust very hard to fight through. When fresh its nice and tender for my sandwich

I usually get the same order taker/drive thru person whose name is Damian. He always takes my order perfectly and is always super friendly every time I see him. It's come to the point where he will predict what I want perfectly which also shows he remembers. On top of that, I always see him busy making sure my order is made perfectly and always convinces me to make my meal a large instead of a medium. Food tastes great, sometimes the fries DEFINITELY show that oil hasn't been cleaned or changed in a while, but besides that, I will make sure to continue coming back until the day I die.

I ordered a breakfast burger combo with another sandwich ala carte and a raspberry tea no ice. When I got the food, my tea had ice in it, AND they forget my large fries on the side. When i actually reached home, i opened up my honey butter chicken biscuit, and it was a spicy chicken patty instead of a normal one. Now i don’t know if it’s a staffing issue or if a single employee was running the whole restaurant by themselves. It’s kinda sad how the whole order was messed up, pretty much. Such a shame.
