Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
I’d give 0 stars if I could. Either the speaker doesn’t work well or the person in the drive thru doesn’t speak loud enough to be heard. We get to the first window to pay and they verified our order 3 different times. One number one plain and dry with cheese. Another number one no tomatoes add cheese and a patty melt. We get to the second window and we get our food and drinks. We got no straws. No napkins and 2 things of ketchup for 3 meals-2 of which were larges. Then I had to unwrap each sandwich because nothing was labeled only to find that both the number 1’s were made all the way one with cheese and without. Our French fries were not completely cooked and were drowned in oil and no salt. Didn’t even have enough ketchup to mask the taste of it. The drive thru was incredibly slow too. Took them forever to go through. I will never go back to this Whataburger. I have never been to one that has messed up my order so badly.

Whataburger the best. Hamburgers are fresh not like McDonald's which are cooked then microwaved

Lines are always behind in the drive thru.Half the time they give our order to someone else and give us the wrong order and if we do get our order it's missing something or cold and raw. They have definitely gone downhill since they sold out.Used to have nice kind workers now they've got punks with attitudes and that's not the Texas way at all.
