Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

- AGAlfredo I. GonzalezMay 9, 20263.0Food was great but window girls today May 9th 2026 around 7pm just not worth returning. Did mobile order while on highway on my way home from a 12hr shift, pull to speaker no traffic no cars waiting and waited at speaker no respond no answer figured intercom issues so decided to pull to window and was behind one truck. While pulling behind truck to wait my turn can see two window girls looking out the side window and looked bothered by my pulling up. So I waited my turn pulled to window was told are you Diana order I was no maam and stated my name, she was what? Again stated my name mobile order and the other girl was heard commenting that’s the car that didn’t wait at speaker and pulled , I responded no one answered or greeted figure intercom issues she rolled her eyes and walked to back. Waited 3 min and was then handed order, while waiting for DrPepper can see the rude girl rolled eyes and was dispensing Diet lol… told here excuses it’s regular dr she continued to lie and both girls at window responded its reg dr when clearly seen under the white label dr dispensing. Decided to depart didn’t want to hold traffic but last time I order at this location. I’ll stop next time on the way down home before this location.
