Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

- BMbrianna medrano4 days ago1.0This used to be my favorite restaurant but the employees starting at 6pm till morning are absolute garbage. They have no customer service skills what so ever and give terrible attitude. I get it if it’s a high school job for quick money but at least have them work back of the kitchen if I can’t even ask for ketchup without someone huffing and puffing.
- BFBill FyeApr 19, 20262.0I hate Whataburger. I've eaten at Whataburger a few times. In Texas, Whataburger has a devoted following. Every time I eat at a Whataburger, I leave underwhelmed. I always think, what am I missing? I order different things, hoping to find one thing they do right. It was late, and I was in a mood to try something off the Whataburger menu. Got a Bacon Cheese Whataburger Jr meal. I ordered grilled Onions to kick it up a notch. Staff was good, friendly, attentive. The burger came with raw onions. 😐 The bun was kinda smashed together. The cheese and bacon were somehow all the way over to one side. There was a scant measure of bacon. The bacon was bacon, therefore good. But bacon should elevate a burger. In this case, the bacon was dragged down by the flavorless, yet soggy poor excuse of, if my experiences are indicative, standard Whataburger Jr. But fries were very very good! And Whataburger might have the tastiest Diet Dr. pepper in all the land! You can keep your Whataburger, Texas! Mickey D's does burgers better Than Whataburger, and the Golden Arches are mid at best in the fast food burger game!
