Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

    I stood at the counter 6 mins before someone came over and said give us a minute. 8 more mins total 14 and no one ever took my order. I left and told the loves employee they said it's everyday. I called after I left the person who awnsered the phone didnt care and just said sorry. I told them I'd be writing this review they they told me go for it. 5:30 am July 9 2026

    Lots of parking, open shopping experience, great selection of food, snacks, and drinks, wide variety of car items and misc you may need while on the road. Showers available for a stop to freshen up. Store is very clean. What-a-burger attached which is very convenient. A small casino arcade inside to wind down and relax. Great facility, a definite must stop of on your route.

    Cashier Elyanna brought me my food I had ordered for dine-in. She noticed me getting up to leave and she asked if I had ordered to go. I let her know I was leaving (I meant to order to go) so she went and grabbed me a bag while I got a refill. She went above and beyond by packing my order to go. It was unexpected and I’m grateful for the great service!

    Such a disappointment for this location. We waited for at least 45min to get our food for it to be wrong. First of all, the girl at the drive thru window looked like she was not having it. I get it long day, but at least Fake it till you Make it, and she didn’t give us a receipt. Second of all, they didn’t believe us on what we purchased because we didn’t had the receipt. The girl said if we had one and we said that the girl at the window didn’t give us one. We repeated the order -word for word- and also the total which was $40.88. We repeated the order three times to the girl that tried to help us on the side and I’m guessing the manager. He had a black shirt. We asked for a #6 which was an Avocado Bacon burger with no onions, a Sweet and Spicy bacon burger in Texas toast ; No onions; pickles, and a BBQ Chicken strip Sandwich. We Didn’t received an Avocado Burger ( we got a plain chicken sandwich) and my burger didn’t had any sweet n spicy sauce. Bless the manager heart for helping us out by giving us like free sweets, but if we’re going to pay for that amount at least give us the order correct.

    When you walk in there is never anyone at the counter. When you ask for help and taking an order they all look at you like they are lost and have no idea what to do. When someone does come to the counter takes them 20 minutes to get your order even taken, you have to repeat yourself over and over and they still get it wrong. Drink machine is always messed up or out. Customer service is absolutely terrible. Like watching the sloths from zootopia. The line can be out the store and they don't send anyone to help. No positive energy what so ever they all look like they hate the world and their job.
