  I’m giving 5 stars for the food and I believe the rating needs to be high here. For quite some time I’ve avoided this place because of the low rating, the food is excellent! The burgers are great, fries great, chicken nuggets great! 👍🏼 I’m not going to a specialty burger place and expecting to pay McDonald’s prices. You’re going to pay more for a good burger here but the food is definitely worth it in my opinion. Now the service, really hope the owner/manager sees this because it’s what’s hurting this place. Not the best by a long shot… I’m not expecting high class service but a smile, a greeting, something… at least pretend you enjoy working there Especially if you’re going to be asking for a tip! Overall, go for the food… just don’t expect good service

  We had a fun dinner at Wayback Burgers⁠ with my sons, and it was an easy win for everyone. They found something they loved right away, and I was happy to snag a vegan burger for myself. The vibe was relaxed and welcoming, with lots of open seating indoors and outside, plus really friendly customer service. The only small hiccup—there aren’t set meal deals, so burgers, fries, and drinks are priced separately. Pro tip: grab their app and join the rewards program so all that extra spending turns into perks for your next visit

  We had our dog with us and were looking for a place where we could sit outside, so we were happy to see that Wayback had outdoor seating. The food was fantastic! I wish I had taken a picture before we dug in. My burger was delicious, and I ended up sharing fries from my husband's meal—which was a good thing because they give you plenty! The fries were crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and perfectly seasoned. They even made our dog a plain burger patty, which was such a thoughtful touch. Great food, great service, and a pet-friendly atmosphere. We'll definitely be back!

  Definitely worth it. Under new management and they are so efficient, dining room is cool and comfortable. Each meal we've ordered has been hot and fresh. Great quality veggies and even better burgers. Will continue to return to the Bandera location

  First timers at Wayback. Clean place, score of 95 posted. Friendly staff (Morgan?), Food fresh & delicious. Classic burger and fries plus Cajun burger with onion rings was ordered. I recommend Wayback Burgers.
