The food was great and Andrea M was an excellent server. Fried calamari, pear carpaccio, cosa nostra pizza, chicken parm alla vodka. They did charge $2 to not put olives on half the pizza

Absolutely phenomenal food & service. Loved the ambience with a dim restaurant, rather than bright lights in your face at all times. The food was much larger than expected, so that was a pleasant surprise! Highly recommended!

This is such a nice spot for a delicious authentic Italian dinner. They have pizza, but also several authentic pasta dishes that are absolutely incredible! Everything we ordered was so good. The sauces are smooth and flavorful and the pasta itself is soft and so fresh.

This place was easy to get to and park at, given how so many other places in the area are almost impossible to get to/park at. The service was fast and friendly. The menu is full. I ate here with my son. We had the "table bread". That's what we call the bread that comes to the table before the meal/appetizers. We ate the meat lovers pie. We left out the Canadian bacon and added ground beef. I was a bit bothered that we had to pay an extra $4 for the beef. Isn't the bacon more expensive? We were told we could customize the pizzas on the menu. To me, leaving out 1 topping and adding in a different one still comes to the same amt of topping and equal or less cost. So I think that was kind of a shaky pricing decision. The pizza was great, but I wish it were a bit more zesty. It had the overall quality and consistency and texture and everything I look for......but not the taste depth. The only word I can think of to describe it is bland. It was good, but bland. Maybe it is just me. I HAVE been taking oral doses of essential oil drops lately. Maybe I killed my taste buds, but hopefully not forever. All in all, this place gets my vote. I liked the decor, the chalice like drink cups, everything. Thanks Volare, for the great meal and experience. You have done well!

Not really sure how such a highly praised restaurant can deliver food of this quality. I’m a little shook. To start the meal off we ordered a Cesar, hard to mess up, super flavorful. The salad ended up having sweet undertones which were a little off for a Cesar in my Opinion, the croutons were on the soft side, but overall just a salad. The main course comes out, a chicken parm and a picotta, the chicken parm was soft and floppy, the meat tasted bland and overall it seemed pretty cooked and frozen. The pasta was dry, like the sauce was there but it was drying on the noodles. Now for the picotta, once again a little bland, for Italian food with lemon you would think different but it didn’t have much for seasoning even as far as some herbs, that’s like the whole point of Italian. And once again the chicken had to be frozen mushy like you can cut it with a fork but not in the good way. It heavily resembled the texture of slightly overcooked fish. Overall, bland food, had to be frozen, dry, and just off, not different but off.
